This is (unfortunately) not a farmer's market, but a smorgasbord of random stuff. It's tiny, with only a dozen or so vendors within a one block radius. NO SAMPLES :( There is also a little kid's area sponsored by the Virginia Air & Space Center, which have moon bouncers. There is occasionally live entertainment.
During my last visit, here's what the market consisted of:
-bread guy (french loaf, flatbread)
-bottled water girl
-two fresh produce stands (also honey, sauces, etc.)
-eggs
-glass art jewelry
-postcard stand
-realty company
-skull cap table (printed bandanas for your head)
-a girl promoting "green living"
-beer stand
-couple selling Silly Bandz and other little trinkets
I didn't purchase anything and was out in 5 minutes. They get an extra star for effort though. read more
