They had a great selection of books ranging from books about Alaska to cookbooks and of course a vast selection of fiction books. One thing they do not have is a section for large print books (my dad asked...). They have some items that would make for a good gift as well. Although this location is tucked away in the mall, be sure to stop by if you're in the area or have a desire to visit a true brick and motor bookstore... browsing bookshelves is one of my favorite things!

While I didn't have any to sell, I did take a while to peruse the stacks. If I didn't have to get back on the boat, I would have spent all day there. I eventually found a book on the history of baseball in Alaska. As baseball is my favorite sport, I quickly snatched it up for a very reasonable price. I started it on the ship and expect to finish it very soon. If I lived in Juneau, I would be a very frequent customer. Instead, I will let all my friends know to visit on their vacations.

I've been to a few specialty amateur radio stores looking for gear and while they got cool radio stuff, shortwave listening just isn't on their radar. He knew exactly what I was looking for and sold me a good portable radio for $40 less than Amazon or eBay. Also had some lower priced shortwave radios if you're another odd duck like me interested in the hobby. He sells external antennas for them as well. He's got all kinds of odds and ends. Car stereos, speakers, two-way radios, and a 1980's boombox or two. He's got electronics from all time eras. Even had some TVs for sale. Wanted to take off two stars for it looking disheveled inside, but this isn't Best Buy. Only took off one because he threw in free batteries with my purchase and that's solid customer service in my book. The picture already posted of the inside of store is still quite accurate. He says he even ships out to bush Alaska, so I'm sure I'll be shopping from again in the future.

He has all the knowledge in the world about electronics. I'm sure all the tourists and some of the locals probably expect him to bend over backwards to kiss their hiney just because they're buying a charger head. He was good with me browsing a little bit, and I told him I was into vintage electronic test equipment he pointed a couple things. He actually had an RCA tube that I needed. He made sure two or three times that it was what I wanted and he gave me a fair deal. Stores like this are extremely hard to find, so when you do you got to cherish it! It's a​ mall people, people have to use the restroom. Nobody wants to go get a key walk all the way down to the restroom, and then walk all the way back to drop off the d*** key. If you can't control the bathroom environment, don't own a mall. It's the malls responsibility don't put it on your customers. Do your job like every other mall in America does. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Don't even open the doors until the very last minute. Is a mall or not? Do you really expect people to shop here? Most stores just open and close when they want doesnt seem to be any rules at all for the mall business's just a free for all ​
