The staff is super friendly and personable. They say hi and welcome you, which made me feel very safe and happy to be there. The men's locker room and showers are do for an upgrade and the water in the shower was freezing, or as my friend says, invigorating! I waited a bit for it to warm up with no luck. When I went, it was about a month before Halloween and they had it decorated for Halloween and the fall holidays in general, which was very fun to see. I had asked about a changing table since I have a small child and sadly they do not have a changing table, not their idea as they wanted a changing table when they remodeled the changing rooms but the city said no. (city of Bellflower if you see this, give them a changing table. In both men and women's! It is very much a necessity!!!) So even though it was possible for me to change my young child on the countertop they had I also felt very unsafe changing my wiggly child there because I was unable to strap him down. I could have changed him in a stall but no mother will want to change their child's diaper on the floor unless they know it was recently cleaned which I am sure no place has time to do constantly. (AGAIN BELLFLOWER A NECESSITY!) Outside that my son had a great time playing in the water. It was his first time in a pool and it was great. I would say I wish the water was heated for him but it isn't terrible for adults. Looking forward to going back again to play in the water.

It may still have the outdated 80s-style interior, but it's still a grand and beautiful swim center. The swim center holds children and adults swimming lessons and recreational swimming, and lap swimming for adults. It is also home to the Cerritos Aquatic Club and the local high school swim teams. Check the Cerritos website for days and times for recreational and lap swimming. The locker room is spacious. Whenever I come here for lap swimming, I try to avoid using the showers because the water temperature can be finicky (constantly changing from hot to cold and cold to hot).

This club is not closed…read more My son has been a part of this swim club for 1 month. As someone who swam his entire life and at a very competitive level, I have a certain expectation for a swim team and the coach. Prior to joining this swim club my son was a part of another local swim organization were I was more than disappointed in everything. Coach Mike is an amazing coach. He keeps the club team smaller in order to give the swimmers the property attention. He has been really good at communicating with my son whom is the youngest member of the team by 4 years. I am really impressed with how he teaches and instructs younger children. The team has a great mix of swimmers. I am really proud to be a part of this organization because I have seen how the teammates treat each other. I have seen how kind and supportive they are of my son. The teams fastest swimmer has helped my son during swim meets and is with him the entire time to make sure he learns the process. In addition, everyone else is very supportive and kind. My son told us that he loves swim meets which makes us feel great about switching him teams. I can't say enough good things about how coach mike runs the program.

I was giving dirty looks and sighing. Well a week later I received the Commerce Newspaper and there on the front page were all those treadmill girls. And I was wrong. They weren't high schoolers. They were the friggin Mexican National Water Polo team and they were at the Aquatorium to train for the Olympics. Oops!
