The appointment was easy to make through text messages and we were able to get one day of (but note they do not accept walk ins). You also have to have ID and pay in cash so do not forget these things. This was my first time ever at a shooting range, but due to the great staff, I wasn't nervous and the instructions are very clear on what to do. We got to shoot a few different types of guns and got to shoot at some paper targets and metal targets at the end of the range. There is also supposed to be a time limit, but as a group of 4 we never felt rushed and really enjoyed our time! Would come again!

We walked in at 705 started doing the intake form. we were never told a thing when we walked in and started the forms. Until after my husband started walking away from the intake kiosk we were suddenly told "we're not taking any more shooters tonight because we'll be closing down the range in about 20 mins." If it says it's open til 8, then stay open til 8. If not- SPECIFY THAT ITS 730. You don't understand how important little breaks of freedom are to new parents. Update your hours online or stop with the false advertising.

Daniel had a deep knowledge, and passion, for the topics discussed and he encouraged open discussion/Q&A which kept the class seemingly effortless. The process of pursuing an LTC for the first time (or ownership of any firearm) can very well be an intimidating process initially and courses can be stuffy/awkward but Daniel really helped one to digest the very serious topics, responsibilities and laws of gun ownership through engaging conversation, an open dialogue and a wonderful presentation. I'd certainly recommend New England Firearms for anyone, at whatever phase, while pursuing fire arm ownership in MA.
