While I was hesitant to receive virtual reiki (as opposed to in-person) I am SO glad I did. Lisa guided me through the process and it felt like she was right next to me in my living room! Her intuitive messages and advice throughout the session were spot on and very helpful. At many points throughout I felt what she was working on before she told me, which was very cool.

In other studios you are given 10 min courtesy especially for an hour class . I dont see myself going again I will go to other studio in Montclair And hope I don't get treated this way Yolanda

I've gone to class and been treated with wine, cheese and good conversation from other classmates. I can tell they have built a community. Yoga classes at YM are held at all levels with options 'in person' and virtual. My favorite classes are Restorative and Basic. The teachers speak with soothing tones that set the mood for a relaxing yet challenging class. Classes are opened with announcements and opening statements that allow you to settle in and ground yourself. I love the integration of props that enhance your yoga experience. The provided bolsters, straps, blankets, blocks and artificial candles allow you to not be overly concerned about what to bring to class. You only need your mat and a open mind.

I had tried other forms of meditation but they never really worked for me. After coming here, I felt immediately that something was different and hopeful about this place. I was right! There is a really easy to follow and well structured method. I love that you can work with a guide 1 on 1 to address your individual needs, but also that there's a community of wonderful people meditating together in group classes. I was actually amazed at how logical and powerful the method is, and noticed improvement in my mental health right away after starting. It has now been 4 years and I can really say I'm night and day a different person than I was before. I feel so much lighter and freer. My mind is so much clearer than before. I'm much healthier than before. I am free from anxiety and depression. I have a newfound appreciation and love for life, and it really just gets better and better every day. I'm so grateful for this place! I always recommend meditation to my family and friends because I know it will help them with their struggles. My mom and cousin both started meditating recently and they love it! It feels really good to see them happy, and I feel this meditation has brought us closer together. Updating my review since the owner had a fair point that the class I did take was one that I would…read morenot have wanted to take but was requested by the birthday boy (look at previous review). If I'm basing this review purely on the studio and instructor comparative to other studios I have been to, I have to say it still does not meet the 5 star standard. I've been to a couple of yoga studios and unfortunately this place was not the best or the most amazing studio I have been too. The place was clean and did provide equipment which was definitely a plus and the yoga instructor was very sweet and took her time which was nice but the instructor was mainly on her own mat whereas other places the instructor would walk around and make sure everyone is doing well and help out. There were also other nice free benefits in other studios such as a hot/cool rag that's given after class that's infused with nice aromas- whereas this place (maybe it was just the private event I took) but just did the class and you left. I would say this is your standard local yoga studio where if this is the closest studio it works out but I wouldn't want to drive specifically FOR this studio. Hope this review clarified that my previous review wasn't just based off of how I feel towards restorative yoga but towards the actual studio/experience as well

What a great experience! I won a 60 min float from a wellness event and decided to go full force…read morefor my first experience and use the orb. I've always enjoyed being in water so I figured it'd be an enjoyable experience and it was! Rob touched on all the things I was worried about coming in during the orientation before my float which allowed me to feel fully prepared for the experience. I slowly turned off the sound and both of the lights once I felt comfortable and was able to rest like that for a while before shutting them each back on one by one. If nothing else, this is a really fun experience just to float freely and effortlessly but once you fully surrender it really is the most relaxing experience. Highly recommend!
