In other studios you are given 10 min courtesy especially for an hour class . I dont see myself going again I will go to other studio in Montclair And hope I don't get treated this way Yolanda

There is a really easy to follow and well structured method. I love that you can work with a guide 1 on 1 to address your individual needs, but also that there's a community of wonderful people meditating together in group classes. I was actually amazed at how logical and powerful the method is, and noticed improvement in my mental health right away after starting. It has now been 4 years and I can really say I'm night and day a different person than I was before. I feel so much lighter and freer. My mind is so much clearer than before. I'm much healthier than before. I am free from anxiety and depression. I have a newfound appreciation and love for life, and it really just gets better and better every day. I'm so grateful for this place! I always recommend meditation to my family and friends because I know it will help them with their struggles. My mom and cousin both started meditating recently and they love it! It feels really good to see them happy, and I feel this meditation has brought us closer together. If I'm basing this review purely on the studio and instructor comparative to other studios I have been to, I have to say it still does not meet the 5 star standard. I've been to a couple of yoga studios and unfortunately this place was not the best or the most amazing studio I have been too. The place was clean and did provide equipment which was definitely a plus and the yoga instructor was very sweet and took her time which was nice but the instructor was mainly on her own mat whereas other places the instructor would walk around and make sure everyone is doing well and help out. There were also other nice free benefits in other studios such as a hot/cool rag that's given after class that's infused with nice aromas- whereas this place (maybe it was just the private event I took) but just did the class and you left. I would say this is your standard local yoga studio where if this is the closest studio it works out but I wouldn't want to drive specifically FOR this studio. Hope this review clarified that my previous review wasn't just based off of how I feel towards restorative yoga but towards the actual studio/experience as well

I've always enjoyed being in water so I figured it'd be an enjoyable experience and it was! Rob touched on all the things I was worried about coming in during the orientation before my float which allowed me to feel fully prepared for the experience. I slowly turned off the sound and both of the lights once I felt comfortable and was able to rest like that for a while before shutting them each back on one by one. If nothing else, this is a really fun experience just to float freely and effortlessly but once you fully surrender it really is the most relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

After a few years of sterile and bland yoga at The Y (that's not meant as a knock) it was nice to…read morejump back in the deep end at a place that's whole hog when it comes to incense burning, the trippy and atmospheric music floating through the building, and all sorts of 'new age' doohickeys decorated throughout.  (My very first class and the instructor pulled out a Shruti box to play at the very start and end of our practice... that was a first for me.) The entire biz looks great (front/store, the studio itself, the locker room in back).  It's clean and inviting and you can tell the entire staff cares about the place. I love that the class doesn't face the mirrors for class (the absolute worst) and every few feet there's the 'STUFF' bucket (napkins, tissues, cleaning solution for your mat) which is such a great 'cherry on top' that I never saw in other yoga studios I've been to. Pricing is solid (I was originally lured here through a deal over at Groupon). To date I've bounced between four different classes/levels/instructors.  Each class was unique and challenging and every teacher has been welcoming, supportive and a total pro. The studio is right by a busy intersection - metered parking on the street (I believe an hour max) and a municipal lot behind the studio (metered till 6pm, I think) for more than one hour. Even if I'm officially long in the tooth and nowadays Child's Pose and Shavasana are more my jam instead of Bhairavasana or Eka Hasta Vrksasanav - I'm just glad to have found a cool place to get on the mat and zen out for a spell.  (Will I ever advance up to their 'P3' hot yoga class?  Not even with some help from Ganapati and Hanuman!)
