Property was beautiful. Service from rental company is the worst I've ever experienced! Run from anything they manage

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE LAKE HOUSE! A few of my friends and I went on a mini-vacation and we decided…read moreto go to the lake house because we've heard such great things from other friends. It was definitely worth it! The house was fully equipped! I'll go ahead and begin my review Bedrooms (3) : Spacious and Clean comfortable enough to fit up to 6-8 people in the bedrooms depending on whether or not you mind sharing beds with people. But none the less the beds were cozy and big! Kitchen & Living room were conveniently attached fully equipped with stove, oven microwave and with a dining table fitting up to 6-7 people comfortably. It was attached to the living room which had a fire place and a variety of entertainment medias for your use. It was soo cute! Although it wasn't cold enough to use the fire place, it made me feel like I was in north carolina or in the woods somewhere. Made my trip seem more authentic and far away! Upstairs: Best part was the game room upstairs! Fully equipped with a pool table and the other table game thing, i can't remember what it was called lol. The only bad part is that there's no room to sleep upstairs, it's more of a game area. But i still loved it. Kept us thoroughly entertained most of the evening! Okay I lied, the best part of the house was definitely the patio that led out to the lake! GORGEOUS for watcing the sun rise and the sun set! There was a dock that led up to the lake which you can involve yourself in doing a variety of sports such as swimming, jet skiing and boat rowing! Although we didn't have time to do any of that stuff it was still nice to have it there available! I must say, it was out in the middle of no where, but that's the beauty of it, away from the cars, away from the noise, away from the city. It was serene and peaceful. This lake house is something you must look into if you're thinking about getting away. Look into it some more, don't just take my word for it! But definitely, we're coming back here again soon for future gatherings and get-aways.

Busy & popular with snowbird crowd. Prices are on par with other communities in area that offer similar amenities and activities. Campsites come with w/s/e (30/50 amp) and picnic table. Cable TV is offered for $. Bring your own raised fire pit and wood if you like campfires. Site are spacious (40 x 65) some areas are full sun, others are shaded. You're parking on grass / packed sand. Some campsites have concrete patios (remnants of older park trailer that has since been removed. The community is a 55+ property, under 18 year olds are allowing a two week stay a year. About 2/3 of sites are permanent onsite with the other 1/3 open for Rv campers. Sometimes I wonder if seasonal residents of communities in Florida post bad reviews so there will…read morebe space for them to stay every year. Red Oaks has a lot of returning "winterbirds" (I call them). Snowbirds from the midwest and northeast tend to favor this park. I'm from the mid-Atlantic area and RV full time. I moved to a spot here to be closer to my son and his new family (two-under-two grandbabies, and his wife who is from this town). There are a lot of activities in the wintertime, and in summer, the pools are refreshing for sure. Bushnell is a very quiet cattle/horse ranch type of community, so there is very little nearby in the way of entertainment. Are there busy bodies here (like one reviewer stated)? Probably... every community has a mixture of personalities and this is no exception. Is it an enjoyable place to stay? Yes, mostly. It has a lot of amenities, an Activities Director and a lot of volunteers who keep the place lively, three pools, and two dog parks. Pool yoga, cardio drumming, dances, live music, karaoke, baseball 'corn hole', regular corn hole, BYOB events, organized Thanksgiving and Christmas pot lucks, Bingo and Card Bingo, cards, woodshop, wood carving (chainsaw style), pickle ball, shuffle board, movie nights, and more. Is it reasonably priced? Depends on who you ask, what SunRV super deal they got in on (or didn't), and whether they are here for a few weeks, a couple months, a season, or a year or more. And park model pads cost more than grassy spots.

But not Singed a years lease& I'm already planning to vacate at end - would sooner if not on lease, as well as rv life /sites- get extreme full in seasonal snowbirds arrivals. Otherwise - it's an ok place with amenities etc. Also, Do NOT trust what they tell you. They ruined a nice smooth site w/lumpy squares of dead/dying sod installed prior to my move in - asked me to water & that they'd "adjust" my water bill----- adjusted minimally I ended up with over &100. Bill ! Normal is under $20. And I still have lumpy squares. At 80 yo & recently recovering from a fractured foot; this makes the site most difficult to walk on. Even with my outdoor mats on top of they're dead lumps. Management is also hard to reach by a simple phone call
