i havent even been there and i have a spot getting to pay sewer and trash how is that really fair. Having to pay it for 6mos im not there .

On site management I get having rules & regs; however, they should be same for all. But not Singed a years lease& I'm already planning to vacate at end - would sooner if not on lease, as well as rv life /sites- get extreme full in seasonal snowbirds arrivals. Otherwise - it's an ok place with amenities etc. Also, Do NOT trust what they tell you. They ruined a nice smooth site w/lumpy squares of dead/dying sod installed prior to my move in - asked me to water & that they'd "adjust" my water bill----- adjusted minimally I ended up with over &100. Bill ! Normal is under $20. And I still have lumpy squares. At 80 yo & recently recovering from a fractured foot; this makes the site most difficult to walk on. Even with my outdoor mats on top of they're dead lumps. Management is also hard to reach by a simple phone call read more

The new manager is a nightmare! Beware if you sign anything! If she likes you -hey you are ok... If she doesn't she ll get you tossed out and then black ball you at other campgrounds! She has no managerial experience-she is never available and double talks! so if you like that kind of atmosphere go for it! Oh and she nickels and dimes you. She is conveniently unavailable at all times. She was even overheard saying she would never live in this park as if this park is disgusting. I am writing to formally express serious concerns regarding recent safety incidents and the overall decline in management effectiveness within our community. There have been multiple situations involving threats of violence that have created a significant sense of unease among residents. In one instance, a resident was threatened while walking her dog, including a direct threat to both her personal safety and her pet. In a separate incident, threats of violence were made toward myself and other residents. Following these incidents, several residents went to the office to inquire about the status of the individuals involved and to better understand what actions were being taken to ensure the safety of the community. We were informed by management that no action could be taken because no arrests had been made and no charges had been filed. This position was repeated over time, even as concerns continued to be raised by residents. Eventually, charges were filed in one of the incidents, including an arrest related to threats of violence. However, residents were again told that no immediate action could be taken, with management stating that individuals could not be removed from the park without sufficient cause. After a period of approximately three to four months, one of the individuals who resided within the park was ultimately removed. The other individual, who had made a direct life-threatening statement while visiting the park, was later addressed following law enforcement involvement. The primary concern among residents is not only the incidents themselves, but the prolonged delay in response and the repeated assurances that no action could be taken, even after the situation escalated. In addition to these safety concerns, there has been a noticeable and ongoing decline in overall park operations and management effectiveness. Staffing levels have significantly decreased, with most maintenance personnel no longer present and turnover affecting office staff as well. This has directly impacted basic services. For example, yard debris that residents are required to place at the curb for weekly pickup has, in some cases, remained uncollected for extended periods. Residents have been informally advised to dispose of their own debris, which presents a challenge--particularly for older residents--and appears inconsistent with established expectations. Community events and resident support activities have also been disrupted. A long-standing Thanksgiving gathering for residents was canceled with little notice, and the activities manager--who previously coordinated events, trips, and community programming--was forced to quit, there has been an apparent shift toward relying on volunteers to manage activities and coordinate services such as food truck scheduling, rather than maintaining dedicated staff for these roles. Collectively, these issues have contributed to a growing concern among residents regarding safety, communication, and the overall quality of life within the community. There is a strong sense that management is not adequately addressing resident concerns or maintaining the standards expected within this park. read more

New management has come in to the park, since then various activities are being canceled or "rescheduled", issues are not being handled efficiently if at all, and management seems more concerned with cutting costs than ensuring the park is a positive and safe place to live and vacation. read more

Sometimes I wonder if seasonal residents of communities in Florida post bad reviews so there will be space for them to stay every year. Red Oaks has a lot of returning "winterbirds" (I call them). Snowbirds from the midwest and northeast tend to favor this park. I'm from the mid-Atlantic area and RV full time. I moved to a spot here to be closer to my son and his new family (two-under-two grandbabies, and his wife who is from this town). There are a lot of activities in the wintertime, and in summer, the pools are refreshing for sure. Bushnell is a very quiet cattle/horse ranch type of community, so there is very little nearby in the way of entertainment. Are there busy bodies here (like one reviewer stated)? Probably... every community has a mixture of personalities and this is no exception. Is it an enjoyable place to stay? Yes, mostly. It has a lot of amenities, an Activities Director and a lot of volunteers who keep the place lively, three pools, and two dog parks. Pool yoga, cardio drumming, dances, live music, karaoke, baseball 'corn hole', regular corn hole, BYOB events, organized Thanksgiving and Christmas pot lucks, Bingo and Card Bingo, cards, woodshop, wood carving (chainsaw style), pickle ball, shuffle board, movie nights, and more. Is it reasonably priced? Depends on who you ask, what SunRV super deal they got in on (or didn't), and whether they are here for a few weeks, a couple months, a season, or a year or more. And park model pads cost more than grassy spots. read more

The RV Resort in Bushnell is overall what you would think of when you thing Snowbirds. Most of the park has trailer park models and long term residents. There are a few areas that cater to the traveler. We stayed a month here during a special they were having. BOGO. Paid for 2 weeks got the other 2 free. Still at this price it was expensive. There are many gathering rooms, activities and groups that meet there and several pools. There is only 1 hot tub at the entrance Office and it was not working for the entire month. We stayed here as it was a central location to other attractions. Although it met our needs, We will probably would look for another place next time we pass through. read more

We love it here ..We started out in B loop the camping section 3 years ago then did the 6 and 6 now we just bought a park model . Beth Ann did a fantastic job getting everything done in the short amount of time we had . The staff is wonderful and very pleasant and always willing to help. There are plenty activities to get involved in and 3 pools to enjoy .. People are very friendly in this park always waving or saying hello . Red Oaks Rv Park is the name. When I registered online I paid extra to not be close to the road noise but the whole park has traffic noise! decent dog off leash areas but sandy. read more

This was only an overnighter for us, and it didn't start out very well. To start with, we had trouble finding the RV park. I called the office. The girl in the office told me their sign was washed out. She gave me good directions though, and we managed to get there in just a few minutes. The power was out in the office so if you hadn't paid in advance (as we did), you would have to pay in cash. We were given site 201 but when we got there, there was already an RV in it. That was the only RV in the area, so we pulled into site 203 and called the office. She said that was okay, we could take any site we'd like. I want to stress that none of that was the fault of the campground. Once settled in, we enjoyed the place. The section we were in had very long, level pull-thrus, and the hook-ups worked well. The laundry, library and pool all look nice. There are 49 channels on the tv. There's some highway noise which bothered my husband, but not me. We would stay here again. read more
