They were very rude, unhelpful received poor quality flowers and had to wait much longer than other customers to check out. Then, for some reason, they took their debit card in the back to 'check' it but didn't do that for any other customers. They didn't even wrap the bouquet in nice paper like they did for the other customers. I will be sharing this experience with many people as my husband is a retired teacher in waterbury. So disgusting.

Southbury Country Florist absolutely made my Mom's best friend, Rita's, birthday so special…read more The floral arrangement the owner, Kim Bova, created was gorgeous - fresh, full hydrangeas with beautiful seasonal greens and accents, arranged perfectly in a clear vase. It brightened up Rita's whole room the moment it arrived. The coordinating "Happy Birthday" card was so sweet and thoughtful, and she hasn't stopped talking about how pretty everything is. I purchased the beautiful birthday card, and the square on the card has seeds to be planted, and you soak it in water overnight, and place in a planter, cover with 1/8 inch of dirt, and it grows more flowers! I thought this was extra special so Rita can keep flowers blooming after the floral arrangement is long gone. From ordering to delivery, everything was smooth and right on time. It's clear they put real care into their work and into making their customers (and recipients!) feel special. I highly recommend Southbury Country Florist and I will definitely order from them again. If you have a family member or friend at River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury, CT, I please consider choosing Southbury Country Florist for any special gift or floral arrangement, because your recepient will love the care and creativity that goes into your arrangement and gift! Kim, thank you for making Rita feel very special on her 100th birthday!! 10 out of 10 rating!

I found Bouquets & Beyond entirely by chance. The shop was buzzing, with the entire team preparing for a big wedding. When the owner, Brenda, asked about my occasion, my eyes filled with tears. Without hesitation, she stopped what she was doing. Her team rallied, gathering flowers from baskets throughout the shop to create the most exquisite handheld bouquet. It was absolutely stunning. But what I'll remember most is the kindness. Skilled artists, exquisite flowers, and deep humanity. Bouquets & Beyond is so much more than a flower shop. It's a place where extraordinary artistry meets extraordinary kindness. Thank you, Brenda. What you created that day was beautiful. How you made me feel was unforgettable.

Glad to say that the site led me to a business I could trust and which yielded good results. So... some context: someone I used to know lost someone very close to them very suddenly. Wanting to show care and compassion, I looked up local florists, surveyed their reviews and inventory and made a short list of businesses that could get the job done in a respectful and meaningful way. The team at Sweet Pea's was receptive, helpful and fast. They put together a condolence basket that the recipient could share with family and show that all involved were thought of. I tipped for faster service and that tip was well-spent. The turnaround was lightning fast and the actual basket was something of value. One quote about it that I remember was that the basket was 'shockingly heavy' and filled with items the recipient could use. Here's the twist: said recipient would turn around and stab me in the back so horribly it took quite a while to recover. You would think such an association would cause me to give Sweet Pea's a bad review. Nope. Sending condolences is always the right thing to do even if the recipient is unkind and untrustworthy. Sweet Pea's provided a well-received and well-valued service in a very quick window and I'm appreciative of that... even given the circumstances of how things turned out.
