We experienced an emergency situation when our well ran dry, and Paul responded by coming out to assess the situation hours after we called. Whenever we contacted Sterling, Cathy either picked up the phone or called us back within minutes of receiving our voicemail. Cathy also gave us accurate and detailed information about the charges we should expect, in dealing with the unpredictable nature of well-drilling. We are especially grateful to Paul for clearing his schedule to help us in our emergency by drilling our new well the week after we called him, even though his schedule was full. He and his crew were knowledgeable, professional, personable, efficient and good-communicators. When the well's yield appeared to be low, Paul calmly explained our options going forward and patiently gave us time to make our decision on how to proceed. We are now the proud owners of a working well and we highly recommend Sterling Well Drilling.

I needed these tests done because I'm selling my home and needed then for the closing. He gave suggestions to improve the water productivity and also offered to have the buyer call him with any questions they may have. The Buyers did end up calling Chuck at Ferris Pumps and he answered all the Buyer's questions and resolved any future issues that may arise. Chuck was amazing and I recommend him to anyone who has well, pump, purification issues or just needs Water Testing done. Chuck has been doing this a long time and has great knowledge of well systems. Thank you Chuck for the time and efforts you put in to my job. You are truly appreciated! N. H-B.

Absolutely do not use Nick at L&G…read more We paid nearly $20,000 for site work and a 12x32 shed pad. What we received was an undersized gravel mound that was not properly prepared for the structure we paid to install. Unfortunately, we did not realize the pad was not the correct size until our shed was delivered and we watched a significant portion of the shed extend beyond the prepared area and sit unsupported over empty space. I know Nick will likely respond to this saying the ground was not level and required a significant amount of stone. We understand that. We expected to pay for proper site work. The problem is not that the site required work -- the problem is that we paid for a 12x32 pad and did not receive one. Even Nick believed the base was 32 feet long during the project. Once the shed arrived, it became obvious that it was not. Nick claimed he used 16-foot boards during construction to establish the length, but later acknowledged the boards provided no structural purpose, and the photos clearly show shorter boards were used. Regardless, the result speaks for itself. We are now left with: * A shed extending beyond the prepared footprint * Significant visible voids beneath portions of the structure * Extremely steep gravel slopes that continue to shift * Additional expenses to hire other contractors to correct the work The most frustrating part is not the mistake itself -- mistakes happen. The frustrating part is refusing to make it right. We paid for a finished installation and instead received something that now needs to be completely redone by actual experts.
