Upon arrival the tech called me and said my systems were so old they would not touch them. They said two were not working (which was a lie) and that I should replace all 3. They made a point to stress safety as their top concern and also said I would never be able to find parts. They quickly gave me a proposal and stressed that they needed to know right away to make it happen for the following week. All this despite having never even looked at my systems to see if they could figure out what was wrong. I was able to get another licensed heating company out the same day. The other company's tech confirmed that two of my systems were operating exactly as they should which was confirmed by my tenants. The unit that I called about needed a new transformer and it fired right up without issue and the tech confirmed all 3 units were operating safely. Zeolla operates akin to a dishonest mechanic or a surgeon doing unnecessary surgery, and these guys should be investigated. The worst part is that they were willing to let my tenant go without heat for an extended period of time in order to con me.

He just recently installed the final touch for a whole home portable backup generator at my home, a new 3/4in gas line basement run to supply the generator (or maybe a deck grill someday), the inspector was very accomodating and approved the work quickly! He has also previously helped with regular maintenance like water heater anode rod replacement and a few gate to ball valve replacements for leaky or seized water valves. See photos below of the gas line connection and whole home portable backup generator setup. Apparently it's "unusual" here in MA to have whole home portable backup power (Costco bargain!), everyone is told a $15k concrete slab generator is the minimum, at least, that is what Castle Electric said to me! They came another day and tried their best to fix the problem. For their trouble, they charged a large sum to not fix anything. They charged for parts they purchased but could not fix the issue. That is not a good business practice to pass that cost to the customer when you were unable to provide the service. Significant money was spent and nothing was fixed. They offered to come back another day where they would attempt to fix the problem again and charge more money if they were successful. They took a week to follow up on that offer. Thank goodness I found someone else who charged less than their assessment fee to fix the issue. That included replacing necessary parts. The other professional was able to immediately diagnose what they did wrong and provided all the options for moving forward. I can't speak for their other services but would not recommend for Central Air repair.
