The store was nice, and we were there for like 300 hours and I was super bored and while we were there I found out Betty White. I drive 2.5 hours just to come to Dover. The staff is great - they're happy to help if you have a question but they also will leave you to your own devices if you know what you're looking for (very appreciated for any introverts). I visited this store today with my Mom and niece. My niece's birthday next week and Mom decided to feed her horse addiction. Staff was nice and knowledgeable. Got a new riding helmet. They were able to fit her and showed her how to fix her thick, curly hair so that her helmet would fit correctly (Her thick hair makes finding and wearing her helmet difficult so the time spent teaching her was great!) They are pricey but worth a visit. Customer service is great. Knowledgeable staff makes getting the right item easier. read more

It's a really nice facility. They have a really nice selection of equipment for English riding. It's just a bit pricey.

Don't know much about horses (know front end from back end) -- but, place was awesome. People were friendly. And I left with some good training DVDs and books for my daughter. read more

This is a large store with lots of stuff for the rider, or for someone looking for a unique gift for a rider. And Dover is a trustworthy name in the business, in my opinion. read more

I've experienced better service and selection at Atlanta Saddlery down the street. Most of the sales associates dont know anything. They have frequently sold my students completely out of style show clothes, forcing us to go back and return. Atlanta Saddlery does offer 10% discounts to the students of local trainers, so price ends up very comparable. read more

I used to have good experiences here a while back, but not so much anymore. About a year or two ago, they had very knowledgeable staff who knew the store like the back of their hand. Now- not so much. The prices are a bit off, and there are very few staff there. They didn't know where things were and I ended up having to find everything myself. It's a shame. My first time here- I drive 2 1/2 hours to get here-so I called ahead to make sure they had what I needed to try in in stock- very friendly and helpful over the phone! They had my items pulled and held for me to try on when I got there! The staff was very helpful and informative since I'm a beginner and needed a lot of assistance with fit and sizing!
