When we went and got the vehicle back I got in and noticed how they even vacuumed and cleaned the inside up. When we got home we didn't notice it before but they even washed it. It is now 19 August and I still don't have it back. About a week after I dropped it off, they told me they found more damage when they dissassembled the damaged parts and had to order more parts. Everytime I call to check on my vehicle, they say they're waiting on a part and it's out of their control. Taking this long to repair a vehicle is unacceptable. They have done nothing to compensate me for not having my vehicle ready in a timely manner. I've had to pay for a rental car for a month after the insurance company stopped paying for a month so that's about $2000.00.

Even pointed out issues from where a dealership painted it and it was subpar work hidden by the paint job they did before hand. Very friendly and customer person and did not charge that much higher than original quote where some shops wanted 2-3 times as much for the same work. So i drove my truck over an hour to get to this one stop shop. Except after taking my money, 1300 bucks, for mechanical work the owner informs me that restoring cars just doesnt make enough money. He then tells me that he has a camaro there he has been restoring and what a pain the job and the owner is. I dont wont someone talking bad about my vehicle or myself and he is doing it to other customers. Holly crap. So I am left with no way to get my truck home. Why cuz he never told me they dont do restore jobs and I drove out there thinking i was paying for the mech work and then getting my truck restored. So, i get a family memeber to drive an hour to follow me home with me truck tell i can find a restore shop. NOT EVEN CLOSE. First i have to drop it off at another mechanics shop because the work that was done was half done and the half the work i asked to be done wasnt. So in the long this guy is only after a fast buck and will tell u anything to get ur car or truck in his shop to rip you off. Our Rav 4 is 6 months old and damaged enough that we couldn't drive it. Toyota roadside assistance dispatched Jamie to tow us to the nearest dealer. While on our way to the dealer, I called the dealer and they told us no Toyota dealer in the area does body work. Jamie said he could do the job but didn't want us to feel "any pressure to do business with him." After being with him about 15 minutes, I had a lot more confidence in him than any car dealer I've ever dealt with--the guy is impossible not to like. He drove us to a car rental place in Murray, although his shop is in Hardin. He recommended restaurants in the area and offered to take care of the tomato plants I was hauling home. More importantly, he was specific about when he could get the parts and the job done. This was a Friday and I talked several times that day with my insurance company. My insurance company eventually told me they could not get an adjuster there until Monday but that the local adjuster knew Jamie and on that basis authorized him to start work immediately without them having to see the damage. When we went to get stuff out of the car Friday evening, he had already started work. He got the job done when promised and we finished the rest of our drive home this afternoon without a hitch. And I defy anyone to tell me the car was severely damaged 9 days ago. It looks and drives as good as new. We invited Jamie to visit us in Colorado and take him to a ball game. Can't say I've ever been so inclined with any other car dealer/repair shop.

They put me on the phone with Dillon and got my Bronco in for repairs within a couple weeks. Dillon relentlessly advocated for us with USAA. They are friendly, professional, meticulous, and knowledgeable. My Bronco was repaired in a little over a week and she looks FLAWLESS. When I came to pick up my vehicle, I noticed that the plastic cover on top of the rear bumper had not been replace and was just attached with a plastic wire tie (which was the condition when I dropped the vehicle off). When I asked why that was not replace, I was asked if it was on the estimate. Not knowing that I needed to tell them it needed to be replaced, I assumed it was included in the estimate,. As our conversation continued, I agreed to have them order the part. At that time, I was met, by an older gentleman (not sure if he was the owner or who), with a really bad attitude stating that I should have reviewed the estimate and saw that it was not included and that they would not order the part. They told me that I should have requested they replace the part. He refused to complete the job, even though I was willing to pay for the additional part which should have been part of the estimate. He said, we are done. We will not order the part. You need to pay us and go to the dealership to order the part and handle yourself. During all my years on this earth, I have never been treated this way by anyone, anywhere. He tried to make it my fault that I did not request the broken piece to be replaced even though my request was to fix the damage. I will never give this company anymore business and will make sure that everyone I know is aware of the very bad attitude and unprofessional service they will encounter at Richardson's Body Shop.
