I was told to call the morning of our travel. When I called that morning, I was told I needed a reservation. When I reminded the dispatcher that I was told to call that morning, he said he would have someone pick us up at the LIRR station in Garden City later that morning. NO ONE SHOWED UP. My Mom is 83 years old and was anxious about getting to this meeting on time (literally a 6 minute drive) from the LIRR. When I called the dispatcher asking where the taxi was, I was told we would have to wait 15 minutes. We called LYFT who showed up in 4 minutes.

Understanding it was a little bit hard to get a reasonably priced cab right at the end of the concert I looked on my phone and I found Garden City Taxi and Airport Service. I got picked up in a brand new Lincoln town car and my driver absolutely did the right thing by me. The ride was smooth and he did not rely on GPS which makes me believe he is a real Long Island driver which is very much unlike some other drivers I've seen in the city. This company very forthright in their pricing which was a lot lower than what the taxis were trying to charge me coming out of the concert

I called this morning and spoke to a very nice dispatch who took my flight info, credit card and promised a driver would be available. A couple hours later, I found out my flight was delayed by 30 minutes so I called dispatch to alert them. Gerald (not the dispatch operator who took my call in the morning) answered the phone and began to yell at me, he said they can't pick up that late, have no way to call the airlines to find out about flight delays and that he couldn't help me. I try to support local businesses and have given this company multiple chances. Service and car quality is very hit or miss, but this is the final straw. If you need RELIABLE transportation, look elsewhere. There's a reason why they get so many 1-star reviews.

Maybe you listen and make changes to save your business?) 2am at Newark airport, needed to go to an airport Marriott 1.5 miles away. Took him 15 mins of asking other drivers how to get there, they did not get what he didn't get! still had no idea when we finally left and He depended on me using a map to get there. He literally stopped in the middle of the highway multiple times for me to tell him where to go. Nearly hit the wall on turns when I was trying to navigate. We went into some very dark areas and tbh I was very concerned about my safety on all fronts. Even when we could see the hotel he could not get into the driveway! Guess what? He Didn't know how to take my payment. When he did, $45. I didn't care. I just wanted out. I was so scared. Maybe this isn't related but I now have $1000 in charges using that card that started a couple days after this awful experience. BTW- this was a company that is used in the Newark airport taxi line. I had been at the airport for 9 hours, only to have my flight canceled and this cab ride was the worst part by far!!!!
