Erica is very professional, responsible, and responsive. I…read morefound my house cleaner than when I arrived last year (when I used someone else, who was referred to me by Fairbairn Plumbing). My home is spotless. Erica's attention to detail is remarkable. I can't say enough good things about her! I previously had a bad experience, as I am a seasonal homeowner. The person I hired last year completely took advantage of me. Erica did not. She kept me abreast of what she was doing, and the hours she was projecting to spend on my job. It is especially important, if someone is doing work in your home, in your absence, that they are trustworthy. I would definitely recommend Northern Mitt Cleaning and Organizing, without any hesitation.

Kevin and his counterpart were exceptional! Professional, knowledgeable, genuine and affordable. If…read moreyou need a chimney sweeping or any services that Kevin provides, then I highly recommend contacting his business! I hired his team to sweep my chimney and while doing so, Kevin noticed a crack in our fireplace. Instead of attempting to charge us extra to patch it, Kevin told me what was needed so I could do it myself to save some money (which only cost me $5)! They even offered to do it for us, but they weren't able to locate the material in their company vehicle which was no biggie at all! Kevin even sealed a chimney leak on our roof for no extra charge and stated that he wanted us to be able to have a fire with our kiddos! A class act to say the least! Deserves nothing less than 5/5 stars!

I definitely would not hire this company. I accidentally left water running in a half bath and it…read moredripped down into my basement. It was small area in my basement with a cement floor. There was an area rug that got wet. Definitely my fault. They were here for about 2 1/2 hours and got the water up. They took the floorboards out of my half bath and the vanity out and put in a heater and some type of metal things on the floor. In the basement they put fans and a heater and used my dehumidifier. This was on a Sunday. They came back on Wednesday to check if everything was dry. That man was here for about 15 minutes. I asked him at that time if he had any idea of what the cost would be and my recollection was that he told me maybe around two which I took to mean $2000. They didn't come back again until Friday when they took all their equipment out of here. I then got an invoice from them a few days later for $3147. If they had just come and shut the water off and told me how much it would be I never would've hired them. I have two wet vacs and could've easily gotten the water up and I could've bought fans and heaters for that amount of money. When I called to complain about it, they told me that the man had told me that it would be between two and three but it wasn't in their notes Everyone I have talked to about this has said it was an outrageous amount that they charged including people that work in that field and plumbers. I hate to think what they charged people that had actual floods in their basement from all the rain. I would definitely try other companies.
