I had given up - hey I know I moved to a state that's not east coast and I just figured pizza was one of those things I'll have to miss. Not anymore - I found the genuine New York slices as this location today. We had great service and were served quickly, and the garlic knots were also legit. We will def be back and we were going to return and order an entire pie to go so I could stash it in our freezer - but we ended up having a family emergency and having to leave Manitou. But we will definitely, definitely be back!

I tried the spicy combo option - pizza with jalapenos + the hot knots. For a comical $6.66 it filled me up enough to fuel taking my son and niece to the penny arcade. Not a penny these days, by the way... This is a hole in the wall style restaurant, so seating is fairly limited. Not great for a group of 20, but fantastic for everything else. There was only one fella working the oven, front, and every other hat, but he knocked out order after order with efficiency. Worth a visit! My new go-to for quick eats in Manitou Springs.

I had the tortellini, and it was excellent. My wife ordered the bow tie pasta with chicken and Alfredo sauce (I think it's called the "Pasta alla Carbonara" or something like that), and she loved it. Both dishes were flavorful, cooked just right, and the portion sizes were spot on. We also had some gelato after the meal--delicious and super smooth. Only slight letdown was the kids' cheese pizza--kind of meh, but we didn't expect much from that anyway. All in all, very good experience, and we'll definitely be back.

The pizza was a little greasy but I enjoyed it as the green chiles were nice and spicy. The Chef Salad was something recently our friends had brought over. We ordered it with the croutons on the side. The salad did not disappoint either as the ingredients were fresh. I ordered it on my way home from an appointment and the service was outstanding. The staff ensured I knew how long my wait time was and didn't forget that I ordered a pizza sauce for home. My rating was based on the reheat effort that was on the side of the box. 375 for 6-8 minutes. We attempted this method and the pizza literally fell apart almost crumbled. Guess I would have eaten leftovers cold or slightly heated up in the microwave. Anyways super clean establishment and super friendly!

I got sad when I realized I couldn't eat regular pizza anymore, but when I asked Fox's if they had a gluten free option, they said the cauliflower pizza. She made me a large this time and when I ate it - I loved it! tasted just like regular pizza (somewhat - I am picky with pizza being a Brooklyn girl) but they listened to my concerns, prepared it properly and I didn't get sick!!!! This left the impression that the pizza was pre done and then the appropriate toppings get thrown on at the time you order. The "tossed salad" was no different. This is about as close to legit New York~style pizza as I've found in Colorado. Massive, foldable slices with that perfect golden~brown crust and satisfying crunch that makes you want another bite before you've even finished the first. The walk~up window is a nice touch, too, bringing those NYC street-pizza vibes right to Colorado Springs. NY min fast service too! My only complaint? I devoured my slices so fast I FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES. ‍ Honestly, that tells you everything! Great pizza, generous slices, and a perfect pairing for a cold craft beer. New Yorkers might debate me, but my taste buds aren't filing any complaints. Fat Sully's understood the assignment. Brews. Views. Food.

This used to be one of our favorite places. The last two visits have been horrible. I don't know if…read morethere is a change in management recently but here's what the experience has been like. 1. Showed up on a Friday evening and were told it would be 15-20 minutes wait time. Fine. After 30 minutes I checked in again and was told "you're actually next on the list. I'm going to clean your table and I'll be right back". Hostess returns and proceeds to check in 2 other parties and put on wait list and then calls another party to seat them. Odd, but I'll be patient. Then hostess returns and seats another party (same size as mine) in the table she just cleaned, for me. Odd, but again, I'll be patient. I've worked in the service industry and I get that it's busy. Then another 10 minutes goes by and I ask the hostess if we are going to be seated soon. She looks at me like she has no idea who I was, said my name wasn't on the list and that she could put me down but it'll be about a 30 minute wait. I was shocked! I get that attention spans are basically nonexistent in today's younger generation but, come on, we made eye contact and spoke to each other just before! You don't remember?? 10 minutes later a manager finally comes by and gets us seated. The rest of the evening was fine after that. Side note: only reason we waited so long in the first place is because this was a special occasion for my son and he didn't want to change our plans. He was set on having a Big A$$ Slice off the menu. 2. Went back the following Monday night. Much slower, obviously, so didn't expect any issues. Well our waiter didn't know what beers were on tap (more available than what's on menu) and didn't offer to go look saying "I don't know. I don't drink" so I had to stand up and walk to the bar and then return to my seat to deliver my drink order. Annoying. Then when drinks came out I didn't get the water I'd also asked for (spoiler alert, the water NEVER showed up even after a reminder). Then when the food came we didn't have our dipping sauces brought out at same time, and one entree was missing. By the time the dipping sauces came out (after 3 separate reminders/requests) the food was now cold as it had been several minutes on the table in an AC adjacent booth. The entree never showed up (later we discovered it was never on the ticket, which is odd since the server swore that it was 'on the way'). Annoyed and tired we decided just to eat our cold food, pay and leave as it had already been over 90 minutes (crazy for such a slow night!). The server hadn't split the ticket like was asked and it took 10 more minutes to track her down to get her to split it. She came by and apologized, took our cards, and said it had been split properly. When she came back it had NOT in fact been split properly and we paid for the wrong items (had to apple pay someone for part of my portion later in the evening). At this point we knew it would be encroaching into the following day's sunrise if we waited for it to be fixed so I did the one thing I've literally NEVER done in my entire life and left a $0.00 tip on the ticket and walked out. I don't know if I'll ever return, which is unfortunate because it is one of only 2-3 restaurants that my son will eat at (he's on the spectrum and if you know you know). If this place is under new management then PLEASE get your crap together and reply to this to let me know when it's safe to return. Life is freaking expensive these days and eating out is a luxury that is only rarely afforded. I don't want to waste money. If it's not under new management then maybe it's time for that to change?? Complacency? Who knows. Also the food is still amazing. If I was rating this on food alone it would be 5 stars. End of rant.
