A few weeks back, i was…read moreovercharged $3.00 on my purchase. i went back in and asked for my receipt, and i showed the cashier her mistake. instead of just giving me my $3, i had to call corporate and wait weeks for a whopping $10 gift card, which forces me to spend my money with them. That's a stupid policy. Today i tried to spend my money that they are forcing me to spend there, and the gift card doesn't work! How greedy! How stupid! i was a daily customer! it was clearly their mistake. if you shop there, bring a calculator and double check the total, because if they overcharge you, you'll never see that money. They dont trust their own cashiers to handle a $3 mistake. why on earth should we trust their employees if they dont? This place would benefit from new, less greed focused management. if it were my business, i would have apologized and comped the customer's whole purchase instead of losing a daily customer. You're not the only convenience store in town, after all.

On December 11th, me, my husband, and two sons (8 & 16) walked in. My husband used the restroom an we grabbed three drinks. we was headed back home which was a decent drive back. when we got to the counter my husband noticed his ex was working so i went to pay for the items. When I did this employee CYNTHIA KIDD of little Mudd creek, decided that even though she was the only one there she was going to be rude and loud and refuse to wait on me! So I calmly told her with a smile you have to do your job she continued calling me names, demanding I leave the store(mind you there is Nothing against us stating we have to stay away from her or vise versa!) an threatening and just being plum psycho! Also there was now other customers in the store! So this was not a way to act in public more less a place of business! I calmly stood there as she acted a full an she decided that she was going to call me some names and once again tell me she is going to put me out so my anger kicked in at this point and I told her that if she thinks she can put me out to go ahead! She decides then to throw her name badge, an come around the counter at me like she was going to touch me ! When she seen that I wasn't going to back down she stopped in her tracks and mouthed off some more being rude an Loud ! So I laughed an Took my kids an followed my husband out! We called the managers, we called the head manager an I've also called the law, district attorneys etc! The managers assured me they would fire her an that should have never happen! HOWEVER she is still working there, an is still allowed to come into the store and bad mouth us and do threats and just act plum crazy! What's bad is there is cameras there with sound ! A yet her actions are being upheld an Ok according to the managers !!! That's not how you do business! She should have been fired an so should anyone that is supporting her! Ive got many more calls in and so eventually something will be done! But to have an employee act this way is unacceptable !!!!! Shame on you double kwik in Prestonsburg! DO BETTER !!! Also I would advise random drug test as there is not only Cynthia but another employees that most deff would fail !!! If I was in the wrong please inform me but a persons job as a cashier is to wait on the customers and the customer is always right ! The sausage is superb, the crust and square party cut is the same, but the garlic dipping sauce beats Papa any day. Plus it was $5 less than Giovanni's. Plus, they are so kind and generous there. I frequently stop by on my way to work of the morning and get a couple of breakfast burritos. They also have delicious biscuits and breakfast sandwiches. My favorite lunch/dinner meal is their shrimp stir fry. Sooo yummy and perfectly prepared. They serve Mexican dishes and American dishes. As I've said, everything I have tried is delicious.
