Second if your allowing a person to select a time from the time spots you allow maybe you should make sure someone is there to actual bring their food to them. Yes we did put our number in wrong and they did try to call but if the time spots were correct to begin with then they wouldn't have to call. Third if a person selects diet sodas then you probably shouldn't substitute regular sodas. Overall the gocart experience from Food city has made me not want to do online grocery anymore.

If you want to tour Loretta Lynn's original home in Van Lear, Kentucky you must stop by Webb's…read moregrocery, pay a $5 entry fee, and follow the tour guide in your car a mile or so to the home. The young man that runs the store is a distant relative of Loretta Lynn. But for folks in this community this store is one of the only stores within many miles of their home. He has a few Loretta Lynn's souvenirs such as t-shirts and magnets. But there is also canned goods, soda, and water for sale. The store is very old and was a railroad company store when it was originally built. I believe he told me it was around a 125 years old. He has done a great job of keeping this place up as it did not have that old smell that you find in a lot of places. Of course you will also find a ton of Loretta Lynn memorabilia throughout the store as well as other older relics of times past, such as an old Pepsi clock, soda bottles and signs. It was a quaint old store that takes you back to simple yet tough times for many Americans in the late 1800s to early 1900's. I loved it!

Attached, in normal Kentucky fashion, there is a wine and liquor department. Food City has a reasonable amount of produce, which was pretty fresh. The prices are fairly standard, and there is a free membership card for discounts. This location is in a shopping plaza with a Walmart and Lowe's, along with a bunch of other stores and fast food joints, so you'll be able to find most if not all of what you need in the area!

Just this afternoon my wife and I walked in, the two kids working just stared at us. Didn't say hi, just gave us a mad dog look. Okay, maybe not everyone is friendly all the time, no problem. When we got to the register, they didn't speak one word to us. Not so much as "did you find everything?" Or "how are you today?" Nothing. They were actually just gossiping about some other customer who goes to that store. What does that tell me? It tells me that they gossip about any customer that comes through there. If you talk about someone behind their back, you'll talk about anyone behind their back. Most of the employees that work there are really nice, very friendly. However, these kids that are working there now need an attitude adjustment and need to realize that they are at work at not drama class. I don't ever post on here. However, Pikeville is a wet city, that means alcohol sales are allowed and so the Pikeville Wal-Mart sells alcohol. But I don't go there for alcohol though, I go there for getting some of things that I can hardly find any at the Wal-Mart in my hometown which is Belfry. Employees in Belfry is a bit better than the one in Wal-Mart though but again it's probably because I know more people at Belfry one than I do at Pikeville though. If you cannot find some of the things at Belfry Wal-Mart and or at Logan Wal-Mart then there's a good chance that you'd find it at this Pikeville Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart need to stock more PC games though!

This place is legit. It's like travelling back in time... back when things were simpler and just…read morebetter. There are friendly faces working, a small grocery, and a great butcher shop in the back. I used to go here because it was the only place to get Jones Soda. The last time I was there they didn't have it. I think they stopped carrying it, unfortunately. That's okay, though. The butcher shop in the back is great. The hamburger is particularly good, steaks are good, and their chicken salad is a favorite of me and my family. You only hear good things about the meats from here. There's a reason he's still in business all these years even with competitors like the nearby Sav-A-Lot and IGA. Kroger is only a 15 minute drive. I imagine most people do their grocery shopping elsewhere, at larger and cheaper grocery stores, but when you want some good meat, you come here. The small grocery section they've got here will get you by if you just need a few items and don't feel like making an extra stop. Check it out. Even if you don't need meat-- stop in just to see the place that has been in Martin for forever. Buy a pop and a candy bar or something. I don't think you'll regret it just because it's such a cool, quaint little shop.
