I had saved some to usb but mostly not. Geeks saved everything! I've had these since 2013 and 2016 so you can imagine all the memories saved in that amount of time. One had a bad cpu and motherboard that had overheated. They saved the info on that one and moved it to the older computer which needed a new hard drive but was otherwise still very usable. Both are Acer Predators and at the time I bought them were top of the line. The repaired computer is so fast now. I'm so glad to have it back with all of my old data intact. Relieved. Geeks did all of this in one day! Any of my future repairs will go straight to them. They have a vast amount of knowledge and do so much more than simple but critical repairs. I also took them a new laptop that I wanted set up. It's a dream to use with no bloatware. This was same day service. I ordered 90' degree valve stems on line when I had a to replace the rear tire. I had the rubber seal Blow OUT at about 65 mph. Once my heart restarted, I pulled the tire and got there at the end of the work day. they inspected, balanced and remounted the tire with a new first-class steel angled valve stem from their inventory for a very reasonable price. Top quality all around! They are the GO TO guys
