I reached out to MX Property Services instead, only to find out the 4x4 posts were only sunk in 12-15" of concrete and some of the posts didn't have concrete around them at all. He went out of his way and stared his day early since I told him about time sensitivity of needing it up before I start a new job. I had to wait the rest of the week for 2 other quotes so I could have some comparison. Other companies had 3-4 week waits just to give an estimate. J & J Fence has very affordable prices and the quality of work is fantastic. It was raining most of the week they were putting up our fence and they had to deal with a lot of extra roots and trees and other obstructions in the way of where the fence needed to be. It had rained for three days straight and the only brake in rain for finishing up the last part of the fence (adding the door) was early Saturday morning. I then contacted Pioneer Fencing. They where friendly and had the correct quote to me in less then a week. Within 3weeks of contacting them they had the work done. The other place after 15 weeks told me it would be another 10 weeks before the work could be done, making it 25 weeks. The work was correctly and I was happy with it. We were also looking for a contractor that wasn't going to take ages to schedule, since it was February when we started planning for this project and it had to get done in time for our backyard wedding in May. At first, I'm not going to lie, I was really hesitant on going with Josh but his estimates were really too good to look away from. They do all types of fencing, but we wanted a privacy fence because our property borders three or four others. Josh came out and walked us through the process for a closer estimate and basically told us he could knock it out within two weeks. Turns out, they were a relatively new, mostly word of mouth business, rooted in Anderson Township but willing to expand their services. The service is jaw-droppingly amazing compared to a LOT of other contractor stories I've heard and personally experienced. Not only is he lightning fast at responding to any questions we have, but his turnaround time on the projects is SUPER quick without any compromise to quality. He took care of all required paperwork, materials, old fence removal, etc. The kicker for us is we had a lot of dead mini-trees (?) and brushes around the edge of our property, and Josh and his teammate not only got rid of them, but also took care of discarding it all. The result was completely like one of those HGTV before and after shots. They're on other social media sites but they 100% need to be on Yelp because service and quality like this is hard to find in Cincinnati. tl;dr scary fast turnaround, amazing quality work, above and beyond service with total cleanup. Word-of-mouth business with small social media presence.

Rushed. Lack of Communication. Bad Decidion…read more We hired fresh perspective two years ago as we wanted to hire local to get our fence done. The lack of communication was incredibly unprofessional. I had to constantly reach out to see where we were in line of customers, and when they were actually going to show up. When Josh did come, he rushed the job in order to get finished before the Fourth of July weekend so nails, wood, and concrete bags were left in both our yards and the neighbors yard. Because he rushed the job he never connected the new fence to our previous fence. The fence also started leaning not even five months after he finished the job. I did reach out a year later for him to come back and fix both of those problems. He never communicated when he was coming back or if he did the job. We noticed that he did indeed connect the two fences, but he never fixed the fact that the Fence was leaning. It's now two years later in the fence is incredibly wobbly and leaning more now than it ever has. I would not recommend him. You will, unfortunately just have to spend more money to fix his job.
