Despite the rough weather we caught a few sailfish. One was just over 90 inches. I'd love to see what he could do without a six foot chop!

Bayfront Park has parking, a paved walkway, water fountains, and benches. There is also a historical marker that relates the history of how the 1870's settlement of Biscayne became the Miami Shores of today. The best feature of the park is the scenic view of Biscayne Bay, a diverse marine ecosystem that is home to two state aquatic preserves, an environmentally important wildlife area, a national park, and national marine sanctuary. Biscayne Bay is a highly productive subtropical estuary fueled by large volumes of freshwater from the Everglades. This clean freshwater mixes with ocean water creating low salinities on the western side of the bay which promotes growth of mangroves, oysters and seagrass beds. During my visit kids were fishing from the walkway, someone was reading a book, and other people were walking their dog. This park is known as a great place to catch a sunset or watch the moon rise. For a few moments you can sit on a bench and escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life as you indulge in relaxation and peaceful reflection.

I saw a guy fishing at the pier, and he started yelling towards someone down the pier. I look back, and he tells me that he's yelling at me! He's dressed in regular clothes, and to the side of the pier. He's fishing, not working. He has some eye condition so his eyes are googly, so I couldn't even tell that he was looking and yelling at me. Especially since he has no uniform on, like I've seen the actual workers wear there, and they're by the sign when they're working. But, this guy had no indication, I thought he was an old male Karen once he told me he was yelling at me. He was holding a spool of fishing line, which is why I couldn't see his security badge until after I passed him and he started yelling. He had such a nasty attitude. It all started because he didn't want to do his job, dress up. He could've salvaged the situation by lowering his tone when talking to me, and showing some respect. But nope, he acted like a child. I wonder if he actually worked there. That's still an unfortunate experience. Also, I didn't see any no fishing signs on the beach. But learned that later.

My parents and I were in Miami for a few days and my father really wanted to go fishing. We were…read morereally looking forward to this as the website was full of happy people holding fishes and advertising what appeared to be a state of the art boating experience. My father was very excited. So we get to the marina half an hour early as instructed, we check in, we board the boat. And we wait. At 9am, when we are scheduled to depart they come in to tell us we're not going - there aren't enough people. Now here's the thing about that. The website was very clear that if not enough people sign up, we won't go. That's fine. My problem is that this is something that could have communicated the day before so we could make alternate plans instead. I highly doubt people are excitedly showing up at the marina last minute for some walk-in 9am deep sea fishing on a Tuesday. We got up so early, took a long and expensive Uber ride from the southern tip of Miami beach, dosed ourselves with dramamine and were super hyped for a boat trip that would never leave the dock. They did say that we would've had enough people if the other two people that were supposed to come had made it, but they rescheduled for the afternoon and we could take that trip. This was either a bold-faced lie or the website is incorrect, because the website said we needed at least 12 people to sail and 4 people showed up - we would've still only had six if we had two more. Additionally, the website says that trips are nontransferable, nonrefundable and we'll take your money and leave without you if you don't show up. When I mentioned this, the guy running the boat just shrugged and said "that's office stuff, I just own the boat." This company has no accountability, no reliability, and has no problem wasting your time. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. Also, the bathroom on the Mucho K is basically a closet with a toilet in it. No sink, no toilet paper, no soap. So even if we did go out, we probably would've had a sh*tty time anyway - pun intended.

The best part is all the gear and equipment and bait is included for all paying guests. There's several trip options to choose from. Early morning, during the days and their late night trip. We have done all, and I prefer the late nights. The water is calmer, it's not as hot, and it's pretty relaxing if you ask me. The business operates daily, weather permitting. The boats are pretty big, they seem to be able to hold about 30 persons on the fishing level. There's an upper deck for a smaller fee, for people who do not want to fish, but go along for the ride. You're welcome to keep whatever you catch, depending the size of course. Once we cough a nurse shark, we were not able to keep it, but it sure had eveyone taking onboard! You're also allowed to bring your meals and drinks on board. It's definitely a party if you make friends with your neighbors and enjoy the tour. I'll definitely continue using this company for years to come.

The boat trip begins in the scenic intracoastal passing by stunning mansions until hitting the ocean by Port Everglades. As a novice myself, the crew is informative and helpful in teaching how to use the rod, fixing issues such as lines being tangled or snapped hooks, and identifying the fish. Cool learning experience too. They showed us a sucker fish as it strapped to the boat walls before setting her free. We went on a Friday at 7:30pm. The boat wasn't too packed and we claimed the front. Between 3 of us, we took home 4 fish. We caught a bunch more that were tossed back in the water -- baby sharks, and many fish that weren't of proper size. Great adventure even if you don't catch any fish. A very peaceful view of the skyline looking east and we caught moonrise to the west. Nice ocean breeze! After returning, they scaled and gutted the fishies for some fun cooking ahead.
