My crown had broken Dr. Fabio Maltese took care of me immediately. He and his staff were professional, diligent, even fastidious. I have gone to the top dentist, in New York City. Dr. Maltese has them beaten hands-down. He has the latest equipment, the most professional and polite staff. They are extremely busy but always offer their patient a cup of refreshment. The first day I was there a recognizable politician walked in and a beautiful actress. I was treated with the same respect as these celebrities. My wife was getting sharp intermittent pain when eating. We were near Vatican and found Dr. Maltese on the Internet. He speaks good English and told us to come right over, a 10 minute walk from Saint Peters square. A fantastic man, he and his assistants were very thorough and professional. Her fears were put to rest as no cause of the pain could be found in either the crowns or the teeth. X-Rays were negative. Pain meds were Rx to last until we return to the USA. I was in Rome on a trip. I developed a severe toothache that kept getting worse. I sucked it up to go to the Papal audience. After the audience with the Pope failed to resolve it (never hurts to ask), I Googled, "nearest English speaking dentist" and Dr. Maltese's named popped up. We are in Italy for a long stay and my daughter lost one of the rubber bands on her braces. We went to an American dentist first, who wanted to charge $150 to replace the rubber band! Dr. Maltese was very kind and took us into his office right away. He replaced the band in 10 seconds, gave us 5 more in case she lost any more, and didn't charge us at all. Grazie mille!!! read more
