First, I saw they charged me different date every month, I called, and the young guy told me that they just charged when he took 4 classes. Second, I asked them if I want to cancel the class what can I do? The young guy told me just call them to cancel. And I asked it will be charged or not? they said "NO", They just charged for the date that he comes to class. After over a year, I found out they had charged me every month for 4 lessons even sometimes we had to cancel for emergency, I always called to cancel. Recently, they charged me for whole month of September while my son did not go to any lessons because of his sport schedule. I called today and the older man said I will be charged 4 lessons in advantage for the whole month on beginning of the month even he cannot go to the lesson, and we call cancel less than 24 hours. That is not what they told me from the beginning. So it means these 2 men said different about their policy. They want to charge me full month of October again even my son did not come, and it is really ridiculous. I ended up cancel his lesson and I will sign up somewhere else has better experience. And of course, never go back to this place again.

BUT offered no assistance when the item arrived damaged. Granted it was not their fault for the shipping damage, but instead of dealing with FedEx they put the responsibility on the buyer instead to resolve by suggesting to the buyer to utilize the manufacturer's product warranty and then stopped all communications with the buyer following this advice. After many failed attempts by buyer to get Island Guitars to honor the return and send buyer a return shipping label, Reverb was asked to step in (which they did luckily) and they had to force the return process. There was ZERO cooperation by Island Music Co and later Reverb issued the full refund once item was returned to seller.

Sean Gotkin was very helpful, he told me they had an agreement with a local Luthier who could look at it and provide an estimate. The esitmate came back at $120 so I asked them to go ahead and do the work. It took a little longer to repair than they had committed to. When I went to pick it up, he charged me $100. That's what I call service! Why go to a franchise store when you have a local shop who does quality work with a local craftsman? Support your local business!
