I had an appt with Chris and he said he was going to review my investments and give me a plan on…read morewhat I should do. I came in for a second appointment and he went over the different ivnestments with me. I told him which one I wanted and asked him to email me the final plan. He had me paid $500. However, he never gave me a written plan even after months and several requests. He kept emailing me docusign requests to sign and to transfer my money over. When I asked him the tax implications if and when he has to sell my stocks before transferring my money into whatever investments/annuity he has? He said I'd have to wait and he will let me know after the fact!! I asked him what kind of annuities he plans to invest my money in and if I can get my money back whenever I wanted or how long it will take for me to get my money back? He then said some of it will only allow me to take out 10%/year; this means he just guaranteed a pay check for himself for the next 10 years and if something happens to me, my beneficiaries will not be able to get the money out for another 10 years. And when I asked for my $500 back since he did not do anything to earn it, giving a investment plan, as the law requires him to do so, he refused. Then his dad, who Chris included in all the emails to and fro me, called and emailed me back and left nasty messages for me. They wouldn't refunded my money until I threatened to complain to FINRA. I did not get my money back for months and when I questioned Chris, Bobby wrote me an email basically stating that he did what he was supposed to and if I did not get the money back, tought! So I asked him back that if one of his clients wanted to get their money out and did not get it back, would he say that to them? Run away from these guys, they don't care about you and your well being. All they care about is getting themselves a pay day and if something goes wrong, you're on your own. If you decide to go with them, you should ask all the pertinent questions and have them put the plan in writing in details before transferring your money to them.

During these years I had scrimped, did without and saved money to have a comfortable retirement. Unfortunately they took two-thirds of my money, for what, I do not understand. I did not save all my money to hand it over to a company that, in my humble opinion, did not earn as much of my money as they took. Life will not be as comfortable as I thought it would be in retirement and I am still doing without and not enjoying retirement.

They rented a mobile home for their young family knowing the water was unsafe. The home was not up to code and code enforcement was called. They were fined and sited. They had no water for 5 days as a result of the well breaking. A cabinet was mounted to a wall in the laundry room with one nail and it fell damaging their dryer. Maintenance came and took their functioning washer and replaced dryer. But the washer they provided didn't work! The stove had a piece of wood painted white where the glass should have been and the stove top didn't even work. Luckily we were able to give them a good stove as a result of a kitchen remodel. They let their stove sit on the porch for months! The yard had metal barb sticking out of ground in several places that her husband had to bend down with a sledge hammer so that the yard was safe for their young children. First, it must be noted that the staff here is extremely professional and friendly however, the…read morepolicy set for by the bank make it really hard to enjoy being a customer. First staff is trained to dog you every time you're there to ask you about your banking needs, but it feels like prying they ask you how you're saving your money where you're putting your money. If you need a loan what are you doing about your mortgage? have you ever refinanced it's just as long gauntlet of questions , almost anytime you have an interface with a banker. Again, I don't blame the staff. They've obviously been trained to hound people. My next issue is the peculiar policies around notarizing. I called in advance to see if a notary was on staff and I was told they actually had three fantastic but when I arrived, they let me know there's a whole list of documents they will not notarize, including the one I needed, which was a simple addendum to a mortgage . They only notarize it if you have a loan with Regions not very friendly, but they could've told me when I called instead of sending me on a goose chase at the end of the day. Next is their ATM machine , the touchscreen is not intuitive. It's easy to press the wrong selection and it's down a lot. I don't understand that and they only have one machine and it's walk up only. Next is another policy designed to punish customers . Two months in a row I had an Internet provider who was taking money out of my account. Inappropriately had canceled my service, and this provider told me they wouldn't be drawn on my account, but they did which put me in an overdraft position. Regions was quick to charge me $35 not just for the one overdraft but for two others that coincidentally fell on the same day Because of the inappropriate draft Regions was great about it the first time and reverse the fees, but when it happened again, and I asked Regions to help me, they said they have a strict policy that they'll only reverse one NSF charge once for as long as you have an account. That kind of inflexibility is what will drive me away to an Internet base bank why am I paying for full service and a banker if they're so rigid, I can't have a relationship with them?
