I requested a few quotes from the airport to Bal Harbor and although this company was not the lowest price quoted, Eric was the most prompt to respond and answered all my questions which put me at ease. I appreciate how communicative he was and how easy the process was to set up. The inbound pickup at the airport was on time, the driver was courteous and professional and texted me his status and he knew the area really well and the SUV was a newer model and clean. Initially, I was just going to grab an Uber back to the airport at the end of our trip since it's cheaper, but the private driver, setup and ease of working with Eric was so professional, it made me book the return too. I guess this businesses is ok with silencing their customers instead of fixing their mistakes. I do not recommend this company. We asked for help with transportation- were told it would be about 30 minutes for pick up. I asked how much it would cost and was told it was meter based with no other details. Grateful for a ride and not expecting it to be more than $60 for a 25 minute drive we decided to wait. After 40 minutes I called to see if they were still coming and was told yes about 10-15 more minutes - 20 minutes later the driver showed up so total wait time was 1 hour NOT 30 minutes. The driver made passes over a double yellow line which did not make me feel very safe and then when we did arrive the bill was $110. I told him i felt that was too high so he called his boss who offered me a discount to pay $100 (which to me is still outrageous but apparently we had to pay the meter for his 1 hr drive to pick us up with out being told that ahead of time?) the person on the phone argued with me about the timing and said we only waited 40 minutes which is not true.. I called at 12:38, 1:08 and was picked up ay 1:40, arrived at 2:01 and was billed an outrageous amount. Being out of state, here for a funeral we have a lot going on and too many emotions to argue further. The driver and I also did not speak the same language so I didn't want to take it out on him so I paid and moved on. I hope other people see this and decide to book a different way as this does not seem ethical to me. Actually, I think I will continue to post until the company decides to make it right. I have also reported this incident to the BBB
