Cute exhibit. Seems like it may have been better when they first opened. Nonetheless my 8 year old had fun touring the rooms with her bestie. The front door staff were very friendly. The rest of them just seat fillers. The oxygen bar is in one of the rooms didn't really get instructions to pay at the front when I didn't see it in the lobby I just assumed they didn't have it but when we were going through there it was but by that time we missed the opportunity to pay for it. I don't need to ever go again .... Mid experience I felt absolutely NO DOPAMINE! Allegedly street parking is good after a certain time but I parked in the garage next door to be safe $8 up to 2 hours after 2 $14

I was invited here on a rainy Friday night and was excited for this experience. The beginning of the experience was really nice and I liked learning more about dopamine. It took about an hour to go through the different rooms then I went back to the dopamine bar and that was the best part. Overall it was cute, but not worth the price in my opinion.

We had fun! I took my daughters (21, 19, 9) and they all enjoyed it equally. It was a bit on the pricey side, but knowing the location, the price matched the location. There is street parking and also a garage connected to the Friendship Center location. Upon entering, we had to sign a waiver and each person over 18 had to sign their own. We were late by 15 minutes due to cherry blossom traffic and lack of available parking... but were able to get in anyway. We overall enjoyed this experience! Some of the rooms were amazing while others were just okay--- I'd definitely return, but I think had I come with entitled adults, I would have enjoyed it less. This experience did what it was supposed to do! I recommend a cheaper location but overall, excellent execution! Main con is that the O2 experience was not working and I had prepaid for the experience for the four of us... they gave me instructions on how to request a refund ($12 per person). Hopefully requesting a refund will be easy.

This is a very short exhibit but it was fun. Definitely a family place or great trip to take with your friends. It's about $30 after taxes unless you do a group rate. There is an additional oxygen bar you can add on for $12 and they have light refreshments. I had a great time and I'm happy I got to experience it but i wouldn't pay for this twice.

I recently visited Dopamine Land as a break from studying for my STEP 1 exam and a way to experience more dopamine in my system. It is an interactive immersive art experience where you also get to learn about the neurotransmitter dopamine on a layman level! It was an utter delight to have a warm environment to relax in on a snowy day. We ended up staying for about 2 hours, mainly relaxing in the meditative forest-like environment room. My favorite room by far was immersing myself in the 5 senses: touch, taste, scent, sight, and smell. This is absolutely perfect for families, date nights, and people who want to relive a childlike wonder. You could definitely walk through this quickly (~30-50 minutes), hence an emphasis on having fun and actually exploring your youth again through Dopamine Land! They have an oxygen bar. It's $15 for 10 minutes but you could split the 10 minutes between two people if you really wanted to save the extra money! I didn't feel any difference, to be honest, but try everything once, right? Parking -- paid street or a garage nearby. The friendships height metro is also within walking distance.

Went back to Dopamine Land after having to reschedule it twice due to their cancellations from Fever. This was kind of in a weird location, but fairly close to the Friendship Heights metro stop (Red Line). Once you go in, you'll had to head down the elevator or escalator and then scan the QR code to sign the waiver. AFTER that, you can check in with your ticket(s). The experience itself has a lot of different rooms, but some were geared a bit towards children vs. adults. My favorite room was the interactive movement room and the doodling room. I didn't post pics of some of the rooms for you all to keep it a surprise. I had points from Fever, so I also used it to redeem free usage at the Oxygen Bar, which is literally getting different scented oxygen. Would I pay for this experience again? Probably not. But it was something I'd go to once and be glad I experienced it LOL

Went here with my friends after brunch and it was a great experience! We did the oxygen bar which was cool but had a long wait. The interactive rooms were fun and provided us with a lot to do! My favorite room was the one where you got to write on the walls. There's lots of opportunities for photo ops. A fun experience if you're looking for something to do on the weekend!

This was such a cool experience! It was interesting to learn about the different triggers for dopamine and also learn which one triggers you the most. I liked that the tour was self guided and had plenty of photo ops. This is very kid friendly but also a cute date night vibe so it works for all ages. The exhibits were focused on each of the five senses which I thought was interesting. It was very interactive so you werent just looking at things and reading because I I personally don't like that.

This was one of the worst experiences I've had. The exhibits were poorly explained and not put together well or cohesive as well. The oxygen bar wasn't working, and instead of returning our money, they said just use the one that works a little. Please do not go here. Terrible exhibit.

There's a room where you can write on the walls and the furniture!

I went to check out the Dopamine Land Immersive experience with my friend and we had a blast! It was so cool to learn about different ways that we release dopamine or what things may trigger its release. They have a few interactive rooms with different activities that trigger a dopamine release. The experience costs $28 for adults and I believe $22 for kids! They also have an Oxygen Bar (aromatherapy) for $12 with your ticket purchase or $15 if you purchase on site. Personally I think you can do without the Aromatherapy but the rest of the exhibit was fun. Also they have optional coat check for $2 It's very kid friendly and there is staff present at each point of the exhibit to help you navigate the experience. Photography and videography is allowed but you're not allowed to turn on the flash.

I feel like i was scammed. Beautiful presentation was made online, we were very excited to go . Be prepared to pay $2...if you want to leave your coat of umbrella. It's more for children, but there is nothing to see, to do or lean from this , just waste time and money. We are very disappointed and won't recommend it to anyone.

Much better and more fun going with someone, the more the merrier! It didn't take my breath away but I enjoyed going without the my home girl especially the pillow fight room and the room where nothing is off limits and you can write, draw everywhere and anywhere! The oxygen bar at the end is worth it & a zen moment! It felt god to be a kid again

The value is not here. Unfortunately, the tickets are very expensive. This place does not have much to offer. I was expecting more exhibits. You can see everything in under thirty minutes very easily. There is nearby garage parking, in addition to street parking.

Now I have kiddos who keep asking whether we can go again. Just bought tickets to see the Snow Man and the Snow Dog show for the holidays and looking forward to it. Here is what you need to know: + Garage parking is free on Sundays + Tickets are sent electronically along with a helpful email and storybook pdf that helps prepare young children on what to expect when they go to the theatre + The theatre is truly intimate -- there is not a bad seat in the house (Trust me -- we were last row, on the side of the stage and still had a great view!) + Children's shows can be quite corny and cut corners when it terms to production value but not at Imagination Stage. I was really impressed by the quality of acting and the set of "Dory Fantasmagory." + They offer lots of free programming such as "Meet the Cast", family yoga, and a children's fashion show to go with the play. I went with a group of children ages 4 - 11 and they had everyone entertained. Seeing everyone's faces light up and laughing out loud has truly filled my cup of cuteness for the entire week. Thanks again Imagination Stage. Can't wait to visit again!

I recognize that the Magic Duel takes huge pride in 5 star reviews on Yelp, which I deeply respect. But I did wish that we had seen the show in a different venue. I am no stage expert, but lights and sound do matter a lot in delivery of a magic show for a skeptic like me, going because the significant other loves magic shows. With better lighting, things would have been more "magical" (thinking bottles.) I was also surprised that a bubble artist, as good as she was in her profession, was considered a magician. Manisha and Prashsant, owners of Stone Manor Inn, were personally involved in making sure all went smoothly with our cocktail and dinner party, and it most certainly did! SMI is a lovely old country inn on 14 acres, I believe, with a number of different venues (indoors and out) for meetings, parties, and weddings. The rooms (7 in total) were eclectic, in a good way. All four of their largest rooms that we occupied were spacious, with king beds and spa tubs with separate showers. All were well maintained and clean upon check-in. We had no complaints. I'm not sure when we will return to the area, but when we do, we will not hesitate to return!

I was on the fence to book this place given its hefty price tag, and glad I went for it and completely agree with the glowing 5 star reviews. The bubbly host Manisha is very warm and welcoming. She cordially gave us a 20 min tour around the property, which was built in 1908, and even gave me a bonus tour of the other rooms afterwards. She kindly answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. The Peacecock Room is the most spacious and best room (aside from the bridal suite), elaborately decorated in peacocks. We loved it! The little touches like the handmade soap, a set of wine glasses, and a wine opener made the stay so memorable and special. While the rooms aren't temperature controlled, the electric flameless fireplace kept the room warm. The double capacity jacuzzi was perfect for my hubby and I and even had lights (some of the other rooms have smaller jacuzzi, so be sure to check). The rooms were clean minus a couple of lady bugs and stink bugs (which is too be expected out in the country). Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The backyard is well groomed and really spacious with a nice patio and heat lamp, which kept us warm sitting outside in the frigid winter. Our dog loved running around! You can see the stars and constellations really well. It would make a great wedding venue! The Christmas decorations around the property are really nice. The owners really go the extra mile and put a lot of TLC into the property. The 6 course breakfast is delicious and bursting with flavor. Between the veggie quiche, cheesy potatoes, scone, pancakes, yogurt, and fresh OJ, I was stuffed! The fresh butterscotch scone was divine and devoured my mine and my hubby's! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room. Manisha and her family greeted us and thoroughly explained the dishes and chatted with us for a bit, even her son made an appearance! The bed and breakfast has a nice bar with wine, cider, and alcohol based on an honor code system. Water and soda is complementary, they even had Coke 0! The complementary fudgy brownies by the breakfast area during the day were sweet and tasty. Again the little complimentary stuff gives this bed and breakfast a nice resort feel. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back!
