Pool is clean, sites are level and plenty of shade while still allowing for Starlink. What makes this park standout, however, is the staff. Every host we interacted with was friendly and helpful no matter the ask. Suzanne and Terry were exceptionally welcoming, but all staff was truly amazing and we look forward to our next trip to Osage Beach RV park.

I don't even like staying in our pop-up because it means we have to be near other people, so I usually prefer tent camping for solitude. Holy wow! This place is actually quiet at 10:00pm, 99% of the guests were delightful, the owners and employees went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, and we even participated in their Christmas in July festivities which included a potluck dinner and decorating contest. I will always remember this place and recommend it to anyone passing through or staying at the Ozarks. Love love LOVED it!!! (Part of me wants to give it a bad rating just to keep it a secret hidden gem because great reviews make places more popular and then all the crazies want to visit ;) But as Dolores Umbridge says, I must not tell lies) They're beyond professional, do a downright warm and friendly job of creating a magical place. Thank you so much for our experience that my entire family will never forget. We loved Osage Beach RV! It was my favorite part of our trip.

We arrived at sunset (in late December) and onsite manager Susie was waiting for us. Susie was wonderful, friendly, helpful and so warm and funny; she took us right to our site. Not the parks fault, but it rained a lot, so there was a lot of mud where the vehicles were parked. Right outside the door it was grassy so it was good for the dogs to go out to potty. Rick is a good owner, even refunded our portion of the month we did not use less electricity, which by the way is only $.10/kwh. Yes a dime. That is super. We paid for a month in advance and he calculated us leaving 2 weeks early, deducted our electric, and refunded the rest. That is unheard of in RV parks, but we were glad and thankful he did. Now our Garmin could not locate his address. And RV Parky was showing it to be in the city limits of Rolla. I sent them a correction to the correct location and it is now updated in RV Parky. But I also updated the amenities. They do not have a pool, golf, or any other amenities including fire rings. US 63 runs along side the park, but to tell the truth, we seldom noticed the noise, only if a semi used the jake brake. The dogs loved it as there is a huge, I mean really BIG pet area, not including the yard we had as part of the site. There are some long term rigs there, and they have buddy sites throughout the park. It is 17 miles to town, bit the road is good.

Felt a bit mislead. 4 of us adults stayed Thursday thru Sunday 9/20 thru 9/23/18. We both had…read moremotorhomes and wanted to pull in and back in; so our patios faced. We stayed in sites 1 & 2 on the lake "front" area. Frank the owner met us and I questioned the lake front sites and the price as our sites were really "creek view" at best with views of the Cozy Cove mobile home area and their marina. He said we could stay at the campground if we wanted, but at $40 a night, we figured we'd stay by the "lake" for an extra $10. The hook ups were set so that you really had to back in to use them. Luckily for us, there was some PVC pipe laying around, so we were able to get in far enough to dump and then maneuver into place facing the "lake". Our friends who backed in never had a lakeview unless they walked behind our coaches and sat at the picnic table. We had a fire ring that was filthy and full of cigarette butts, plus an old bbq grill that looked like someone just left it, but at least we were able to move the fire ring towards the "lake". I have a new appreciation for KOA campgrounds cuz at least for the price you pay, you get a nice clean site when you arrive. Luckily there were some good sized fallen branches that we could burn cuz I didn't know they sold wood till I saw and asked Frank on Sunday after it was too late. Also beware...there are a lot of neighborhood dogs that roam the area off leash AND beware that the lake sites are literally 4 to 6 feet off the main road. This could be crazy loud/annoying during peak summer season. Despite all this, we still had a good time here because we were with great friends. I would have given this place 4 stars if it wasn't so spendy for what you get (or don't get in this case). Will we ever stay again...probably not. Did we have fun, yes. Pros -Papa Chubbys. They had a live band Friday but their Saturday band cancelled due to rain that never came...they also had great Pina Coladas and a nice beach area -It's pretty quiet during off season - Friends were able to pick us up at Papa Chubbys with their boat - Grocery store about 3 miles away - Close to community bridge but it is a toll bridge that cost $3 each way. CONS of lakesites Over priced Bogus Lakeview from sites 1 & 2 Neighborhood dogs running free Campsites right next to main road No dumpsters near No bath/shower house near No dump station

The owners, Gerry and Julie, do a nice job on the grounds and their camp store and are oh so nice. On our way to Holiday Lake, we drove the Missouri Scenic 19 for miles and miles. What a beautiful drive. Not much of a shoulder to the road and it's windy and has dips and hills so driver needs to pay attention. We were in a 30 Foot Long 12.2 inch high motorhome. The gravel/dirt road leading in to Holiday Lake RV Park, goes for like a mile and you wonder what you're in for when taking this single lane windy road that isn't paved. We took it slow and when it was over we had landed in this private beautiful setting. Full Hook Up too. If your put off by regulars or permanent residences in campgrounds, maybe this place isn't for you. There are a few regulars here. They all seemed like nice country folks who are lucky to be living in a beautiful setting. Site was not paved but pretty much level and what a view! There were some boats around the edge of the lake and a pavilion that you can take out and you can hike around the lake too. Not sure there's a lot of other activities like golf and games, more an adults serene campground setting.
