I was in line to order on the kiosk assuming that was where I needed to be. A cashier very helpfully offered to take my order. You can see all the workers energetically working in the background. This environment made the store feel active and energetic. There were only me and one other customer yet my order took surprisingly long to fulfill. The group of ladies I shared these cookies with loved them and I passed on where this new store was located. I'll be back. I can assure you we won't be back here. That taste is going to stick with me for a long time. I'm telling you it was bad. Not like an old moldy flavor but a nasty bitter bug guts taste. Well what I would assume bug guts would taste like. I could be wrong. Maybe it wasn't bug guts. In either case I would rather not know. I get sick to my stomach just thinking about it. Very unhappy with Donut Palace of Pasture Cakes.

(We were there before 7am) Thanks to Yelp we found this place on the way a little later. Food - We got 2 kolaches (Prashek's Sausage and Ham & Cheese) and 3 doughnuts (old fashion and glazed & unglazed blueberry cake) and coffee. Kolache bread was okay. Husband had Prasheks sausage and said it was good. I had Ham & Cheese. It was alright. Doughnuts were a hit! Coffee was surprisingly good. Service - Quick. For anyone that doesn't want to get out the car, there's a drive thru window. Location - Right off 59. Easy to get off and back on for driving through. Ambience - Basic no frills place. It really didn't matter to us since we were planning to be in and out. Overall good.

I have never before seen strawberry cake donuts. They are as delicious as the blueberry. Add to that fruit and cheese danishes and heavenly breakfast tacos and kolaches. Everything we tried was delightful. I think my favorite was the bacon breakfast taco. I can't describe how perfectly the eggs were cooked. Please do yourself a favor and visit Donut Palace.
