I few weeks ago I searched on Yelp (honestly) and found his number. He was very responsive, gave me a ballpark price, came out and looked at the job to give me a firm price, and completed the work on schedule and budget. The finished product is perfect. I was also very impressed with his attention to detail and knowledge about historic fabrication techniques. I really couldn't be more satisfied. And we all know how easy it is to find someone who will dissatisfy one these days.

The best part is that he called me the next day to see how the part worked. That's good service. I know most people don't need a welder very often, but when you do, this is the one to go with.

They installed a gate at my home with the intention of having it automated, but they told me that they are not interested in installing the automated opener as they do not make enough money on having someone install the automated assist opener to the gate. They also did not provide any referrals when asked on other contractors that could perform the work.

He was really nice. We felt like we were in good hands. Well, spring came and it was time to bring the new awning and set it up. Not happy at all the awning was not remade well. The sides were supposed to have grommets that there are hooks on our siding to hook into. It is so short that they attached the sides with zip ties. That is not how it is supposed to be. My husband watched as they struggled to stretch it accross the rails because it lands short. One panel is so tight and it is not supposed to be. The company that we bought it from said they couldn't help, neither could the company that modified the van. I was almost resigned to having to buy a new (used - new to me) (and VERY expensive) accessible van, when Don at Mufflerman recommended that I call Headknockers. So glad he did - I would have never found them on my own. They took out the old tank, fabricated, rust-proofed and installed a new tank, and I'm confident the tank will outlast the rest of the van! Thanks, Rick and Chuck - I'm so grateful for your help!
