I bought a completely refurbished electric club car (I named the Lolita Express) and could not be happier with the results. The seats are so plush and soft that I wish they were in my car! It is so quiet I cannot tell it is on till we start moving. New canopy, wheels, chassis, windshield, mirrors and charger. It is beautiful and came with a warranty which I liked. Been out riding every day exploring the neighborhood and I love it. Would highly recommend The Golf Cart Company if you are looking for a new or refurbished cart. They will take really good care of you! I would recommend that this YELP website be updated as multiple tries to upload a photo appeared to be successful but were not. They were jpg. Except they never refunded the money. It has been many more months of excuses and delays. Apparently they went bankrupt and were sold off. Legally, the new owners probably have a way of weaseling out of previous liabilities, but they are a going concern, and you'd think they would want to act like an honest business. Nope. A bankruptcy court might tell me I'm out of luck, but there is no way to look at this other than theft.

We recently experienced a really lousy shopping trip to a beautiful golf cart store in the heart of…read moreThe Villages. A beautiful store who very effectively killed our enthusiasm in less than 30 minutes when we walked in intending to spend upwards of $25K. A woman standing in the lobby just inside the door greeted us as we walked in. Hello. That was the last good thing we encountered. Within 3 minutes, she asked us for our email address and other personal information. Her aggressive approach was very off-putting. Maybe first asking what we were looking for would justify our sharing that information. Then, without knowing anything about what we might be looking for, she immediately and repeatedly started pushing us back outside 'to see a cart' even though she was surrounded by 50+ carts in a well-appointed and cool air conditioned showroom. She made zero effort to uncover what we wanted. She kept referring to a 'price-point cart' sitting outside on scorching hot asphalt on a brutal 95 degree day, and we just had to go see it. Right now. Before we've had a chance to share anything with her as to what kind of golf cart we're actually looking for. Based on her insistence, we surmised she's been instructed to push one specific cart out of the 250-300 carts they have on display? Maybe a high-profit one, or a lemon they want off their lot ASAP? Or maybe she quickly sized us up and in her mind determined we weren't the kind of people she wanted shopping in her store? Selling ain't telling. Perhaps management in this place might do some basic sales coaching. She was probably a very nice person, but she was a miserable salesperson. Golf cart stores are everywhere in FL - we're still looking, but we have no interest here. Our miserable 30 minutes spent with our ubiquitous 'salesperson' only succeeded in convincing us we're now a hard no on buying anything from this place. Later gator.
