I got a free car wash from my dealership the second I pulled up with my card to mind you I've never used dons car wash like ever and this will be the last time I ever use them the lady when you first pulled up was soo rude and disrespectful literally said to my face YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO GO INSIDE BEFORE PULLING UP! My wife and I have been going to Don's Car Wash on 13th Ave in Fargo for years. I am very sorry to say the service has been going down hill. We are retiree's and to pay $30.00 Plus for a full service wash is alot of money for us. First we were treated very rudely, unprofessionally, and nasty by staff. We got into a disagreement about what was charged, asked for a manager who was clueless and our car was not wiped down and the inside looked really like they had not touched it. Heres the truth. Its a $30+ wash that i paid for. Highest price in town. They didnt wipe the cupholders or side door pulls. Didnt wipe door controls. Yes they made a show of wiping the outside when it was time for tipping. But i didnt get to inspect the work they didnt do to make a judgement. Absolutely and completely disappointed. We came here for a wash and clean before our trip to Phoenix, AZ. The lack of service is amazing. They simply piled trash in the back seat, left rag fibers all over the interior, it doesn't even look like they wiped anything down. There is even a NEW stain on the seats that wasn't there before! The photos speak for themselves. This is unacceptable. We paid for full service at this facility, and didn't even receive quarter service. If you want an exterior wash and interior clean, this is NOT the place to go. I wish I would have used card instead of cash to pay. Then I could dispute the transaction. Avoid this place like the plague. Highly recommend FastLane instead. I will never be returning again and will be telling everyone I know about my experience. read more

I have been going to Don's for years and most of the time, it has been good. I just had my truck washed this morning and it's very disappointing. The dash was not wiped down, the floor mats were still filthy and it didn't look like the floors were really vacuumed at all. I didn't do a walk around but the bumpers were not wiped down either. If it were a $10 wash, I can see it, but when a person pays $34 for the works wash, the expectations are high. There are other options in the FM metro area and I will be going else where. read more

Completely disappointed in this company. I have taken my vehicle there twice in the last year to be cleaned and both times it had to be run through multiple times in order to get cleaned. I even had to call the manager to have him come take a look at all of the dirt and dog hair that was missed. I would not recommend this place for anyone. For the amount of people and resources that are there, they do a terrible job. When I pay $30 to get my car cleaned I expect some level of cleanliness when it gets done. We went to get our car cleaned after our road trip up here. They didn't vacuum or clean the inside at all, which is what we paid for. There was still dog hair in the back seat with crumbs and dust on the dash. They sprayed the seats and didn't wipe it up. We did a better job cleaning it up with the broken vacuum in the back. Outside gets a wash and is then hand dried. Basically you pull up, tell them what wash you want.. and they vaccum and run it through the wash. You walk through the store, pick out any accessories you want and pay for the wash. You then go out and collect your car. Certainly has our repeat business. read more

If you go to the location on 13th Ave S, for around $20 your car will be washed, hand dried and vacuumed out. Overall this is a bargain, especially for the added convenience of not doing it yourself in the middle of winter. Don's also offers interior and exterior detailing. I am considering it for our older vehicle. The prices seem reasonable for these services. read more

It was distinctly visible as it took out all the black paint where the scratch was. I noticed immediately right there at the end of wash and went back to complaint about it. The supervisor first totally ignored it and said it may have been there before and I was shocked to hear that. Later after arguing with him for about 15 minutes he asked me to fill in the form for complaint and said he will turn it to his manager who he said will call me. Guess what, never heard from them again. I am still waiting for that call. Very poor at handling customer complaints. Never went there after that horrible experience. read more

Don's car wash used to be so good. It used to feel like you had a brand new car when you left. I have been so disappointed the last few times I have gone there. I go specifically for them to clean the inside and they are horrible!!! Nothing gets wiped down but the outside. To have to go through and wipe it down myself after spending $25 is ridiculous!!! The floors aren't vacuumed all the way. It's just awful! Never again. I've given them the benefit of the doubt numerous times and I'm done going there for good!! Took my vehicle in for a full detail and it was a horrible experience! They told me it would be done by 5 and would call me when done. I called at 6 and was told it was ready. Showed up at 6:40 and it was not ready. Waited 10 minutes only to find there was about another 2 hours worth of work remaining. -Carpet was not vacuumed properly and was still sandy -"Armor All" was not applied evenly throughout. Some spots had armor all, others didn't and many areas were so greasy it was clearly not done well. -Water spots all over windows -Wax not rubbed in, white streaks in many areas -Cubbies still had crumbs in them I asked for a manager and explained that I have had my car detailed in the past and this was not even remotely done well. He replied that they only have one detailer and he was already gone for the day so I could bring it back the next day to address my issues. Since it had been there for 11 hours already, I was not willing to bring it back. He did not seem concerned, so I asked him for a partial refund. He was reluctant, so I informed him that if this is the quality work that they stand behind, that I would no longer be bringing my vehicle there. At that point he offered a $20 discount, which was 7% of my bill. I told him this was not adequate and he refused to do more, so I took the $20 and left and informed them that I would not be back. read more

I feel like Don's sometimes gets a bad rap from people who didn't get every single spot off their car, but compared to all the automated car washes in town, I don't know any place that gets your car this clean. You can pay 10-bucks for an automated wash that won't get the dirt off your car, or you can go to Don's and pay the same 10-bucks for a wash that's far superior, or pay 20-bucks and get the interior cleaned, too. Been a long customer of Don's Car wash. Last trip was a joke. Paid an extra 2.99 for my tires to get the armour all treatment as well. When I got in my truck half the dash was not wiped down, the vacuum job was horrible, they never pulled my floor mats to vacuum and my tires where not treated with armour all. It is nice to have someone wipe it in places for you and get the bugs off the windows. BUT, I had to ask him to vacuum the front seat floor again, and it is still filthy inside. When I brought my car in for an interior clean it was absolutely disgusting. When I went to pick it up the employee asked me to look the car over before I left. I was super impressed with job and they even found something I didn't know I had lost. The employee stated that he had washed down my drivers side mat as it was filled with salt, which he didn't have to do. The outside looked good too as I had them wash the car. They forgot to do vacuum the trunk. I think the employee would have taken it and done it right then and there but I was in a super hurry as I still had to work that night and so I just let it be. Great place to go if you want a full service car wash. The staff is friendly and very quick. When you enter to pay, take advantage while you wait to look at all the cool car accessories and fresheners, they have a plethora! The car always comes out sparkly clean. Sometimes the staff is a little too fast about drying everything and you are left with water spots, but all in all, a darn good place. read more
