Excellent service. Very trusted folks. Here is my encounter:…read more My Dyson machine broke and I took it to White Vacuum Co. John looked it over and told me what needed to be done for the repair. He gave me an estimate for the cost. Instead of repairing it, I decided to invest in a new vacuum cleaner- (this machine was 8 years old). Originally, I thought I could buy a cheaper model from Craigslist, but John advised me what to look for when buying a vacuum cleaner from an individual "off the street". I really appreciated his concern and decided to purchase my new machine from him at White Vacuum Company. During my shopping experience there, he took a lot of time with me, making sure I got the vacuum I liked and even gave me a good deal on the machine-(a New Dyson!) I trust him and the folks there, and will only go to them for my vacuum repairs and purchases in the future. Highly recommended merchant! Further, Eddie was able to diagnose the problem and solve it in 15 minutes - the other companies wanted me to remove the wall oven (about 400 lbs) from the wall. This really demonstrated for me the common-sense, tactical approach Eddie applied versus the other technicians' sledgehammer-on-a-fly approach. Yes, I fully recommend this service and Eddie!

My last few dryer loads have ended with the felt seal in the drum hanging down. It was clearly losing its stickiness and I looked up whether this could be replaced and how hard it was. The whole drum has to come off, which is out of my capability range, so we tried calling these folks as they are nearby with positive reviews. This was on a Wednesday and although the soonest available appointment was Monday, they promised we would be on a cancellation list. The next day a cancellation came up but, when the woman listened more in depth to the issue, she said she wanted to be honest because for our dryer, even though it's just about five years old, the parts needed were no longer made and we were going to need to replace the dryer. She didn't want us to have to pay a service call only to learn it was unfixable. I really appreciated and respected this. Also when she couldn't get us an appointment immediately, she mentioned they prioritize people with broken refrigerators first, and if you've ever been there you will understand and respect this as well, because washing your clothes can generally wait but food going bad, not so much. I will call these folks for a future repair as I really liked their way of doing business.
