I was getting married in Bend on a budget, but had dreams of gorgeous ruffly flowers for my bouquet and centerpieces. I researched a lot of the trendy and fashionable flower places in Bend and most wedding packages started at $2,500 which was more than I'd budgeted. Discouraged, I planned to arrange all my flowers myself with the help of my family and wholesale flowers from the Portland Flower Market. Two weeks before the wedding my mom and I stopped in Donner Flowers on a whim just to SEE if they could do the wedding flowers for a price near our DIY budget. Of course, I wanted peonies, ranuculas, sweet peas, hydrangea and lily of the valley (expensive) so I was skeptical. On top of that, I knew Donner had a long standing reputation in Bend, but I wasn't sure they could create my trendy vintage/rustic vision for wedding flowers. Well, not only did they come in under budget, they created my DREAM wedding flowers. They even invited me to the shop the day before my wedding to choose the exact right shade of coral peonies. I almost started crying when I saw my bouquet. They treated us wonderfully and never made us feel bad for booking them a mere two weeks before the wedding. I got tons of compliments on the flowers and was so relieved that I didn't have to arrange the flowers myself! Trust Doris and her team, they are wonderful! read more

I don't recommend. I ordered flowers by phone to be delivered to my wife for her birthday. My wife loves surprises. I thought everything was good until my wife called me and told me that they had called her to confirm the address for her flower delivery. I was shocked, so I called them and asked to talk to who was in charge. I spoke with a Tonya. I explained what happened, and I was informed that, "that was just their policy, because of the weather. It was cold this day. I asked why didn't you call me? She again just said that was their policy. I could not believe that this had happened. I proceeded to tell her calmly that she should get with the owner and go over this policy, and hung up. Who doesn't order someone flowers and not expect it's a surprise? I was then called back and told in few words it was my fault. Friendly but come on, be better. This was not the first or second time I have used this flower shop, but it will be the last. read more

I have never called another florist for flowers. Ever. I can always count on Donner Flower Shop to do an amazing bouquet. I have a very hard critic I send flowers to. And let me tell you, if she's happy, I am happy which in return has me writing this review for what I believe to be the most wonderful florist in Bend. Also, the store has such fun gift items and I luv their display windows around the holiday season. The most catching in the area. The staff is top notch, always so helpful and friendly. Doris, the owner is a gem offering goodness in all she has to offer. And getting to chat with her daughter, Tanya is a lovely bonus. I stopped in here to pick up some single stems for a bouquet I was making for a girlfriend. I walked in and a girl looked at me, didn't say anything and then went to the back. I waited a few more minutes and then a girl came out of the back and asked what I needed. I told her and she went and got another woman. She told her I was wanting single stems and asked if I could go in the back and the woman looked at me and said "no you can not." Normally when I've dealt with other flower shops they'll let you go into the cooler with them and pick out flowers. She said it so rudely that I actually thought she was joking. When she didn't laugh I realized she was serious and apparently just a rude bitch. She then got annoyed and condescending because like A normal person I only know names of basic flowers. I ended up just walking out. There's plenty of other amazing flower shops in town where the customer service is amazing. Based on the owners post below I now see where the employees learn their customer service. It wasn't that the woman wouldn't let me go in the back, it was how rude she was about it. It would have been so easy for her to NICELY explain to me what was going on in the back. Instead she decided to rudely tell me i couldn't. I also said "blue tones and colors that would go with turquoise" to which she replied "turquoise is not a flower color." And laughed at me. Again this was part of the problem being conceding and rude to someone trying to pay you money is not how you should do business. But neither is justifying your employees rude behavior rather than just apologizing. ‍ and yeah 19/30 of my reviews are 5 star reviews. I was looking forward to working with donner for my upcoming wedding. I made an appt about 3 weeks in advance for a consultation. Day of I called to confirm and they said there was nothing on the books and were closing at 3pm... The time of my appt. the lady was nice and apologetic, but I will look elsewhere. I have to say, this company has always done the most amazing bouquets for my mom for her birthday's and Mother's Day. I sent flowers the other day to my sister, I put in the wrong address. Bend's Best!!!. I'm still in awe as I write these words! I had the privilege to experience the most extraordinary act of customer service! Last week, I ordered 2 orchid leis from Donner Flowers for my daughter and nephew to wear at their high school graduation. There was a miscommunication about my order but the incredible owner Tanja was so determined to make it right that she called me an hour later and told me she'd personally be hand delivering the leis to my house first thing in the morning before the ceremony. What I didn't know is that after searching all of Bend, Tanja drove all the way to Salem that night to find orchid leis for us! She arrived first thing in the morning with beautiful boxes tied with ribbons. I was speechless, she had dropped everything and spent her entire night driving to make sure my daughter and nephew were adorned with leis to celebrate their high school graduation. Excellent customer service! I was very impressed with them. My boyfriend's mom received a surprise flower delivery for Valentine's Day and the red roses started to wilt and darken after only 4 days. She called them and they were more than willing to replace them. They delivered new roses to our house within a few hours of her call and included a hand written apology note with them. We were very appreciative they were so nice and quick about replacing them. I will definitely be ordering flowers from them after experiencing this awesome customer service. read more

Wow! I am so very impressed by their customer service. I had a bad experience and a "lost order" by 1800Flowers for a Christmas bouquet. I called this florist on Christmas Eve not expecting them to be able to do much this late in the season.
