Our room was spacious and clean and was nicely decorated, in bohemian chic. There was a common area/kitchen where we could make coffee and tea and there were packaged pastries we could help ourselves to.
The guesthouse was listed as having parking and free wifi. Upon arrival, we were told to park quite a ways from the apartment. The correct address was not listed on booking.com and I had to call the number that was above the door. It was the wrong number, and the gentleman on the other end told me to walk down a few doors and call the number that was listed above that door. A woman answered and handed the phone over to another woman who told me that check in normally is before 8:30pm but she would come and let us in within 5-10 minutes. She was very very nice, and I asked about wifi and she told me it was 2 euros. (The website had mentioned free wifi) I looked in my wallet and didn't have any coins, and she said that I was fine and handed me the wifi password. We followed her down the mountain in our car, and she pointed to the area where there was paid parking,15 euros/day. There was another lot which was even further, with free parking. I really need to learn how to read the fine print on these booking websites. HUGE issue that also wasn't listed on the website was the HORRENDOUS stench that we discovered was coming from the bathroom. it smelled like something had died in there. All in all, not worth the 68 euros i had forked over. read more
