I've had negative experiences with dentists randomly raising the prices in the end and being dishonest about their services, but not this place!! No Nonsense Service!…read more I recently got assaulted at work and got my tooth chipped and my worker's comp promoted me to come here. Firstly the equipment they have is top of the line, you are able to have a clear view of your teeth after X-Rays. Secondly they did an excellent handling my worker's comp and doing their best make sure I got my coverage of the entire procedure I needed for my teeth and that's what I exactly got today. Came in, got me set and started my procedure. Please note, they are quick and deadly efficient with their procedure. Don't expect sweet talk, they are there to get your work done with high proficiency and be ready to open your mouth! Really great work and clear communication they provide, would recommend. However, the office did not properly verify the insurance information and benefits before the appointment, and a $145 balance was later assigned to us. I discovered the balance through the Delta Dental PPO portal in mid-September and received a written notice in the mail in late September. I had already contacted the office to explain that I was disputing the balance and that a grievance with Delta Dental was pending. I called again to provide an update regarding the grievance and discuss the situation. During that call, I found Genesis's communication to be rude and unprofessional. Rather than working with us while the insurance matter was under review, Genesis stated that if we did not pay the $145 that same day, the balance would be sent to collections. I found this response intimidating and inappropriate, particularly because the grievance remains pending and the balance resulted from the office's failure to properly verify our insurance and clearly communicate our expected financial responsibility before the appointment. Patients should be able to rely on a dental office to accurately verify insurance benefits and clearly explain any expected out-of-pocket costs before services are provided. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this office to my family or friends. Future patients should be aware of our experience and look for a reliable dental office.

Once confirmed. I told the receptionist about the urgency of my situation, and I was scheduled ASAP. On the day of my appointment, I received a call from the doctor's office asking if I could come in earlier. I did, but I completed the digital intake forms they sent before arriving. I was glad to complete the forms at my own pace at home. Plenty of parking was on site, and the atmosphere was clean, bright, upbeat, and open. I provided the receptionist with my dental referral information. One of the first things I notice is the state-of-the-art equipment. They could have me stand at a machine that scanned my face, and within moments, they had an x-ray of my mouth on the display. Dr. Samuel introduced himself and assessed the situation. I asked if he would be able to do the extraction that day. Dr. Samuel responded, "That's why I called you in earlier so that, if possible, we could do the extraction today." I was all in. So Dr. Samuel prepared me by telling me what to expect and explained a procedure he uses to promote rapid healing. The only drawback for me was the cost of the procedure and that it involved drawing some blood from me. That was the first drawing of blood at the dentist. We came to an agreement that included the Dr. providing a 200-dollar discount. I am happy with the excellent service from Dr. Samuel and his entire staff. One suggestion: pipe some soothing healing vibration music in the surgery room. I highly recommend Dr. Samuel and the TorriMed Oral Surgery and Dental Implants office. I will be back again.
