You won't ever find me in this city again, but I would consider dropping in solely to dine here again. There should really a short note explaining how to find this place. It was a little bit of a mission locating them. Per the map we were following we were there, but we were standing right outside a theater and could not find the entrance. It wasn't until I asked a lady who was closing up shop that we realized we had to walk through the back alley that low key looked sketch. They sure did know it was me the moment we walked in cos the guy who opened the door greeted me by name. He led us upstairs after we checked in our coats. Downstairs is a bar and the dining is upstairs. There were so many people already dining by the time we got there which was new to me since it was so early. It was surprising to see Europeans have dinner at 6. We both opted for the 7 courses. They really nailed it. Even more impressive that they're a vegetarian establishment. Every dish we were served was so damn good. Something as simple as pea soup managed to taste so divine. The service was impeccable. Multiple people served our dishes. They all did a great job explaining each dish we got. Special s/o to Kevin or Kelvin who I believe used to work there from what I overheard. He was dining alone and I noticed the staff would sit and drink with him. He eventually made friends with the folks around and got everyone a round. I missed out on the round, but he spoon fed me a bite of his dessert.

This cute little restaurant has great decor & even better food. I didn't realize when my daughter…read moresuggested it that it was vegetarian, so the menu at first was a bit of a puzzle. We had the dragon egg which was an avocado, cut in half, stuffed, panko'd, and deep fat friend. It was delightful. For entrees, two of us had their "burgers" which were incredibly flavorful and shockingly filling. I had an image that vegetarian food would be light and not filling, but this proved me wrong. The burgers were moist & messy, the peanut sauce was quite delicious, but did not overpower the other flavors. Everything came out HOT HOT HOT, which I really appreciate. It was clear the attentive service was on top of bringing the food out the moment it was done. I wasn't entirely enamored with the cocktail I ordered, but I'm not sure if that was a reflection on my choice or the cocktail, but shouldn't overall diminish your willingness to check out this creative little spot.

That was delicious but only came with small little pieces 3) Both Bentoo boxes on the menu 9€ each - there was just one slice of tofu, rest was rice with sauce and lettuce (4/10). Wouldn't order again Why 3 stars: The location and interior is nice. We also enjoyed the service and the sweet potato. The prices seem to be low at the first look ranging from 4-10€. But the portions and the what comes with the portion is unfortunately dissatisfying. If I order tofu II expect it to be a portion that gets me full and not just bowls of rice with a sauce. This was unfortunate. Due to the service I'd consider coming back to try their noodles or burgers. For now price value doesn't convince me.

The reviews were more than positive so I went and sat down and looked at the menu. That's when I noticed it was a vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant. I was fixated on chicken pho and was about to leave, when I thought the best of it and decided to stay and try it out. I ordered the Mi Quang, a spicy soup with mushrooms and tofu, and lo and behold, if it wasn't one of the best soups I've ever tasted! I was so happy that I decided to be adventurous! I was a little less adventurous the rest of the week, as I ordered the same soup three additional times as I couldn't get enough of it! Run - don't walk - to get the Mi Quang!

The wanton soup had fried dumplings instead of boiled which surprised me. The taste was great, but the soup was so oily as a result. You can see the layer of oil circling in the soup. If that's the secret to great taste, then sign me up. For my entree, I had ca bung, an eggplant tofu dish with tumeric and plaintains. Never had anything like this before. Most of the vegetarian vietnamese restaurants in Houston focus on meat analogs so I was pleasantly surprised. It tasted good but the dish played havoc on the digestive system later with the gas. It could have been the oily soup instead but I blame the novel dish with the soybeans.
