a collection of buddha statues

This review is for Dong A Imports, not Dong A Supermarket, two different businesses with very similar names. This furnishings store is located at the corner of Mills and Colonial, right next to King Bao and RoyalTea. You will NOT find any food here, although you may find rice cookers, woks, chopsticks and melamine dinnerware. This is a furniture store with lots of Chinese inspired furniture, and lots of statues of Buddhas, Tao masters, dragons, foo dogs, all items that are in tune with Asian religiosity and worship. If you are looking for a large Buddha head, or a full sitting Buddha, this place may have your style. Maybe a statue of Kwan Yin, or Confucius, or some obscure Shaolin Kung Fu master would also be found. Maybe some pottery, flower vases, paper lanterns, chimes, incense, etc.

Fresh, cheap produce!

My recent visit just confirmed how much I love this place! Decided to stop by for their premade shrimp summer rolls as a light dinner for 1. I decided to call on my way to make sure they had some available. The sweet woman that is always there (owner's daughter) answered, checked and agreed to hold for me. When I arrived, she acknowledged me and knew I was the one that called. I ended up buying some other of their premade items like the chicken sio pao bun , fried tofu and red bean sesame balls. All so good and cheap! Most people think this is just a supermarket but they do have a few items made in house that are great to pick up for a quick meal when you don't want to order from a restaurant. I will be coming here again and again and again! You should too!

Favorite place for buying ramen!

Overpriced Asian supermarket with limited selection. Better go to New Sparkling or Lotto.

By the way, cilantro is a lot cheaper here than at Publix when it's in season.

Lotte Plaza Market is not your typical supermarket--it's an entire experience. From the moment you…read morepull in, one thing becomes clear: this place operates on a completely different scale. The parking lot is spacious and easy to navigate, which already sets the tone for a smooth, stress-free visit. Once inside, you quickly realize just how expansive this market truly is--you could easily spend an hour (or more) exploring every aisle without even noticing the time go by. What makes this market stand out is its depth and authenticity. As an Asian supermarket, it offers an extraordinary range of products that go far beyond what you'll find in standard grocery stores. The produce section alone is worth the visit--fresh, vibrant fruits and vegetables, many of which are unique or hard to find elsewhere, are beautifully displayed and constantly restocked. As you move through the aisles, you'll discover an impressive selection of: Specialty herbs, spices, and seasonings Authentic sauces and condiments from across Asia An entire world of noodles, rice varieties, and pantry staples A wide assortment of snacks, beverages, and imported goods If you're cooking Asian cuisine, you will find absolutely everything you need here--no exceptions. It's the kind of place where both home cooks and seasoned food lovers can get inspired just by walking through the aisles. Beyond groceries, Lotte Plaza Market feels more like an international marketplace. You'll find plants, beauty products, and specialty items, adding to the overall experience and making it more than just a place to shop--it's a place to explore. A helpful tip: since many items are imported, be mindful to check expiration dates on packaged goods, and keep an eye out for promotions. Some products can be on the pricier side, but there are definitely great deals if you take a moment to browse. One of the highlights--and honestly one of the main reasons I return--is the indoor food court-style dining area. There are several small eateries where you can order directly at the counter. While the setup is casual and straightforward, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying--perfect for a quick and delicious stop during your visit. To elevate the experience even further, the market also features a French bakery, along with beauty boutiques and a hair salon, giving it the feel of a small international plaza rather than a traditional grocery store. Overall, Lotte Plaza Market delivers on every level--selection, authenticity, and experience. Whether you're shopping for specific ingredients, discovering new products, or simply stopping in for a quick bite, it's absolutely worth the visit. Even if you're not familiar with Asian cuisine, this is the kind of place you go to explore, learn, and enjoy something different. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend making the trip--you'll understand why the moment you walk in.

The stone pot bibimbop was incredible, katsu pork, the sugarcane beverage, and the iced teas, try it all! It can get quite busy, so perhaps dine there during non peak hours.

Hmart is finally in Orlando! It was extremely crowded when it first opened, but it's not as bad now…read morethat it's been awhile. The produce and seafood sections are always stocked, plenty of options at the food court, and even has a photo booth. My go to is the roasted sweet potato with kimchi (iykyk) and ice cup with one of the juice pouches!

5 stars for my experience when I lost my keychain / car keys…read more I was strolling around H mart this past weekend and I had my keys slightly tucked in my purse. I randomly checked my purse at some point and notice my keys/keychain is gone. My heart dropped and I was looking at the aisles I recall passing through. I went to customer service and GOD LORD HAVE MERCY! They had my car keys with my attached plushy keychains still in tact! Someone turned them in so fast is what amazed me. I did not have to wait until someone either took them or turn them in. I came in here solely for TOKYO BANANA. I have been seeing the viral vids of this Japanese sweet snack and H mart is the only one that carries it in Orlando. Tokyo Japan Airport is the other place you can get them. It was $14.99 and was on sale for $12.99 for a box of 8 I think. They are pretty much a banana twinkie with banana custard. I also bought miso soup packs for those days at work I am hungry an need a quick snack. Lastly my favorite rice crackers bulk sized. They didn't have the viral hot pot set for $20-25? But I did eye a wok pan I saw from a influencer via social media but I did not purchase due to its not needed at that moment. They had a spin a wheel section by the food court - if you spent $50 - $100 - Then you get to spin. I think you spin 1x for $50 and 2x for $100. The prizes are snacks / ramen etc. Nothing big lol. H Mart is more overwhelming to navigate than Lotte IMO. Both are organized asian markets but H Mart is bigger IMO, This place was packed for mothers day. However easy to navigate to get parking.

I have heard of this supermarket before and have not visited…read more It is located by the Boba Queen place in a shopping plaza on west colonial on 50. It looks small from the outside but its pretty big on the inside especially when the extension is the produce seafood and meat are located. It is clean inside but there is a stench when you reach the produce meat and seafood aisle. The shelves and items are organized and neat and somewhat easy to find things in particular. The freezer section to em need to eb restocked since a few areas were almost empty with items. I was in a hunt for a small bottle of LKK Hoisin sauce and they offered smaller bottles for about $3 I think. They have reasonable prices on some items. And some are similar priced to other asian stores nearby. They do sell the viral fruit ice cream pops that come in those containers where it holds the popsicle stick. I was not interested in them so I passed them by. This store is not busy or crowded like Lotte or Enson. This place has a good variety of cute kawaii dishwares. I would come back here again but I prefer Lotte / Enson for more variety.

We always make sure to check out their deals at the entrance. This time, the coconut milk was on sale for $1 a can. We stocked up so we can use them in curry.
