The service was also amazing with all of the waiter's choices panning out wonderfully. As delicious as the food was here, it was the post prandial coffee that still remains etched in my brain. Thne java here edged out the Tazza d'Oro in Rome and even the Café Gambrinus in Naples. In my 22 days in Italy last November, this modest restaurant in beautiful Termoli had the best coffee.

Our waitress Elizabeth was excellent, when they didn't have something we ordered she quickly and perfectly exchanged it for something that sounded and probably tasted better. Off the breakfast menu, we ordered the eggs and ham breakfast - came with 3 eggs, ham and toast. Pretty good size portion. Typical American breakfast. Off the lunch menu, we ordered the fried calamari. It came with buttered rice and I ordered grilled vegetables on the side. The veggies were definitely the star. Calamari was okay - nothing special. Anyways, this place is pretty expensive - touristy prices.
