But, at the same time, I drive like a maniac and recently started parking outside most all the time. To make this work with little or no trouble I take good care of my vehicle and all is well. I'm minding my own business driving (like a maniac) on the 10 fwy when somewhere between Phoenix and Palm Springs I upset a couple big trucks and got a rock and a nice crack in my windshield (you know that pop? and you want to hit the floorboard to look for the bullet hole?).... Between that and parking outside and with all the rain this year... I needed professional help and called Kenny. Gosh, I'm trying to think now how many years ago was it since he fixed the windshield on my old car? Well, back then I simply couldn't afford to have my car detailed - but now my car is newer and I CAN'T AFFORD NOT TO have it detailed. I'm very grateful he's still doing what he does, like he does - seriously he is like a walking talking detail that jumped off the page of a dictionary to define detail as an action by way of a human person - you'll know what I mean when you meet him and do business with him. He's very precise and super conscientious about his work ethics, reputation and getting things DONE RITE! Ha - honest those were my exact chosen words... His eyes see every little speck of dirt, scratch in paint, nicks in glass.... and he'll tell you exactly what to expect for X amount of $$ no surprises. He doesn't want to waste your time or your money and operates his business as such that he gets treated with the same respect. Today my windshield repair was $80 and for the detail $400 - but it doesn't have to cost that much - or you can get super fancy and spend significantly more - all depends on the level of protection you need to take care of your investment without breaking your bank. For me he did a somewhat fancy ceramic something or other that will protect the paint more than regular wax. My car looks brand new again! I love it!! Any little scuff marks - poof gone! Geez... you know, it might be 10 years since I first contacted him for my old car and he was so good I held on to his business card forever! Plus, for me to be perfectly comfortable putting my car in someone else's hands for several hours and not EVEN think twice about it .... that's a whole different miracle on an entirely different level. Oh! And, I'm in south Orange County, and because I needed more than one thing, he came to me from North County San Diego. Kenny at Done Rite Detail did a great job deep cleaning the back seat/carpet to my daughter's car after someone got carsick on the leather seat (with the little holes in the leather). He came within a few hours the same day I called and spent a lot of time getting the seat totally clean and back to perfection. Not a fun job at all yet Kenny worked hard and knew what he was doing. Kenny is the man. I had seen him in the parking lot of my office a few weeks in a row, so I knew he had repeat customers, which is a good sign. One day I stopped and asked him if he had a card; and the magic question; do you detail motorcycles. I set up my appointment for the next week; and it was too easy! He and his partner showed up right on time, and delivered as promised. Charged me a very reasonable flat rate to detail my bike. I am not kidding you when I tell you that it looks brand new. The chrome, the pipes, the seats- he even took the saddle bags off and cleared away all the grease and grime that gets stuck between the frame and bags. The rims were shining- the dude even wiped down all of the cables and made them shine. I ride the **** out of my bike, and he made it look showroom floor new in about 2 hours. Amazing. He also send me 2 pictures that were big ticket safety issues- I was missing a bolt on my seat and one on my heat shield, which got fixed immediately. I wold have never noticed this and it could have been safety issue and Kenny pointed it out to me- thanks bro! Since I was busy at work I could not come down to take a look at it after he was done, so he sends me a video of what he did. Great customer service too. This is the best system out there- you don't have to spend your Saturday at the car wash and take up half your day. You call Kenny, he comes to you while you are at work. Wow, all I can say. I called Kenny as a first time customer yesterday. I had a spray can of tire shine EXPLODE in my 2018 4 door Jeep Wrangler. It was a disaster inside of that thing. He fit me into his schedule quickly to get it taken care of before it soaked in to my upholstery too bad. Unfortunately out of his control and mine it did stain my seat a little bit Kenny detailed the interior and exterior for me for a very reasonable price here in this area. I was expecting it to be pretty clean but knew he was dealing with a mess so i tried to keep my expectations low. When I arrived at his house to pick up my Jeep I was blown away. I couldn't be happier. He really stood by his company name "DONE RIGHT". The interior and exterior are better than when I bought it off the lot. I will be returning to him and referring everyone i know to him. He also fixed a chip in my windshield to the point I really had to search when i got there to see where it was. I had small bottle of pink wine that popped open from falling and spilt in my car. It splattered everywhere.. Before having the service done I said completely skip the trunk, don't worry too much about cleaning the exterior all that much but just please please please focus on getting the interior cleaned. I paid 125$ only to still have splatter spots on my head rests/seats and the top of my windows weren't even wiped down once. So the minute I opened my windows there was a layer of stickiness untouched. The spot where the bottle mainly spilt still smelt HEAVILY of wine.. once you picked up the carpet it was like he barely cleaned it. I was extremely unhappy after paying 125$ of my hard earned money and with the quality of the service I received. I have spilt things in my car before and done a WAY better job of cleaning than these guys did. They did a GREAT job on the exterior but there was a major lack of paying attention to detail when it came to the interior which was what I addressed from the get go what I wanted. I sent pictures of everything as proof to kenny the owner... and instead of making me feel like a VALUED customer he made me feel like just another price tag. At first he was polite saying we will redo the service if you aren't happy... but then took literally almost 2 MONTHS in rescheduling an appointment to fix what should've been "done right" the first time. ( it did rain for a bit so I give him that excuse but even after the rain was over I STILL wasn't a priority). After 2 months came up I politely tried to reschedule and he said sorry after he rain I'm completely booked. Then I said if you can't fit me into your busy schedule these next 2 weeks (after already waiting 2 months) then I would like a refund. Kenny told me word for word (copying and pasting his message to me) " Well I can't give a full refund for a spot on your headrest and a lil smell... steam cleaning can't necessarily be a complete fix for spilling a WHOLE BOTTLE of champagne on your carpet. I explained that in the beginning. I can try to find time to come wipe the headrest and re steam clean the area but that's all I can offer". Well first off kenny if you didn't think you could provide the quality you advertise that you can then WHY take my money in the first place?! He ends up sending a second guy out and only re-steams ONE part of the carpet and wipes a few things down when he initially told me he would redo the entire service. The second guy did WAY better job than the first guy but I didn't even get the experience of a full clean interior not even once. 125$ down the drain. VERY unhappy with how I was treated and with how this situation was handled. If you end up not being happy with the service expect at minimum to be ignored for weeks.. and don't even think there is a chance at a refund EVEN if you have pictures as proof of the terrible work done and no matter how sweet/patient you are about the situation. Stingy owner with a major ego who doesn't know even the basics of customer service. Steer clear of this guy!!! read more

While Kenny may be good at cleaning cars, he is extremely rude when he doesn't get his way. I come to work, I park my car where I am supposed to, I park in the far back away from everyone. Apparently, for Kenny, I am supposed to move my car so he can wash in that spot. So, when I come out for lunch my car is completely blocked in, and when I leave at the end of the day, I have water spots all over it. While I understand that he wants shade, I also know this is a 'Mobil' detailing business, I also know he carries a canopy for shade, a water tank in the back of his truck, and a generator for power. I simply asked him to please not spray my car, when I walked away I heard him making fun of me to his coworker. So, I went back hoping to clear the air and let him know it was not my intension to be rude to him; and then he just started yelling at me. I wouldn't give this man a red cent! I finally took that leap of faith, and after reading Kenny's reviews and then speaking with him on the phone, had him come out to Premium Done Rite Detail. I can now say that I understand and BELIEVE all those reviews. I felt comfortable with Kenny from the start and, without any stress went on with my day. When I went out and saw his set-up -- his special water, his tools, just EVERYTHING, I was sincerely impressed. Kenny's Done Rite Detail is a truly professional service that focuses on, well, perfection. My car just gleamed and looked better than when I first purchased it. It made being in it feel better. And I simply adore Kenny's trademark "stripes" in the carpet. It helps me maintain the cleanliness for some reason. And they're pretty besides. It's clear that Kenny really cares and takes pride in the work he does. It is amazing to me how the car just stayed so clean and the windows stayed so clean and clear for so long because of his system. To add the cherry to the top, Kenny took it upon himself to transform and camoflage damage that I had just caused to the rear bumper. Absolutely amazing. I wasn't going to be embarrassed by driving around in a clean, but dented car which was close to unbearable to me. I'm grateful I took "that leap of faith". It was money well spent.
