This review is WAY over due. Ive never met a more gifted, blessed Healer and ive been to MANY chiropractors from Washington, Sacramento, San Francisco area none of them can hold a candle to the overall "Full Package" Dr.B is as a doctor and human being. World know hospitals and clinics in state art procedures in mexico. Traditional and very uncommon holistic treatments ...not anymore. From head to foot, inside to out (literally) he has changed the person I am. He has a special bedside manner and way of work like no other. He helps reset you and gives you the tools to work on yourself in the future where you can become independent from him and not where needed him or any other Dr. for every beck and call. Its been MONTHS since I've seen another doctor or chiro and needed any physical tune up/adjustment . In less than a month of seeing him and continued self-care for a YEAR now, Dr.B has helped me with YEARS of injuries from Roll overs to stem cell injections gone wrong! Things I thought would never heal they dont bother me, I NEVER thought id say that...ever i was once wheelchair bound and then daily pain for years couldnt handle steps and parenting. He is NOT your typical chiropractor and is VERY modest and not boastful. From infections, sensitivities (environmental to EMF) TRAUMA to physical and spiritual/generational traumas he can do it all. His unique program developed by Newson whom he worked hand and hand with and even enhanced upon is like no other. His adjustments methods are gentle and effective. When I met him over a year ago I was in tremendous pain of all kinds, unable to sleep, carried around a suitcase or more full of supplements and prescriptions. Sensitive to everything ....I was using cannabis and even needing prescription pain pills and emergency prescriptions anti-anxiety medication. I had two trips from Sacramento to Loomita one in June (a few weeks) and one October (less than a week if i recall correctly). I haven't taken a anxiety medication since our first visit and quit daily needs for pain meds and pot, had a major life/mold issue and started using pot again to deal and went down there and havent used any form even CBD since my last visit 9 months ago (I was a daily cannabis user since 15 and im 42). He empowers you so you can use his BK system, of course thru my Jesus and do it yourself. He never shames you and works with you. He has many different modalities and is not a one size fits all guy. Ive had to get a tooth removed since I met him and he was spot on with the extraction and guess what ZERO prescription or over the counter pain meds taken!!!! Only arnica!! He helps with it all. Mind, body and spirit....you have to be willing and open to heal and yes Do the Work. Ill never be the person I was before God lead me to him. He is gifted. I felt compelled to write this review because I am so grateful to have found Dr. Baune, and I want others to have the opportunity to benefit from his knowledge and expertise. I cannot say enough nice things about him. However, I will begin by saying that he truly has changed my life. I had a pinched cervical nerve that was very painful and limited my ability to do things and enjoy my life. The providers I sought initially only suggested steroid injections and/or spinal surgery. I was concerned about these approaches since they were invasive, expensive, had side effects, and focused on alleviating the symptoms and not the cause. I was so pleased that Dr. Baune offered me an alternate way to restore my health; He did this by focusing on my physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being to bring balance into my body. His unique approach began with God and considered aspects such as the physical body, brain, mind, and nervous system. He also provided tools to educate and empower me in my healing journey. I was almost in tears after my son came to me with such joy and told us "the doc's magic hands have let me sleep for over a week without any allergy issues mom!" Not only is this treatment working on his allergies and other sensativities but he is always happy to go see Dr. Baune. Everyone is very nice and informative. It is very inviting with bright natural light that gives you a sense of peace. Its not the kind of place where you get an adjustment and leave. Excellent care with easy to understand diagnosis about what hurts and how Chiropractic care fixes it. Dr Don has helped me heal from injuries and ailments from both work and home situations that orthopedic surgeons wanted to operate on which would've ended my work life in my early 20's. With Chiropractic care and massage therapy to help loosen up the injured & pinched tendons and muscles from head to toe, I've successfully weathered the injuries without having had one surgery while learning the importance of maintenance stretches and exercises to help me get wiser use of the strengths and skills I've been graced with learning. Besides being one of the most empathetic and incredible human beings, which is so rare to see nowadays, Dr Baune is one medical professional who does nothing but serve the people suffering or in need. His honesty in delivering helpful information and love to make an impact on a human's quality of daily life is something that has been of huge impact in my own life. What most people don't know is that Dr Baune does an insane amount of volunteer work for a lot of elderly people that have no means of affording chiropracting services and he does with the upmost love and care with the only reward of seeing them feel better. He is an amazing doctor and has always helped me through any back or other conditions I have had over the years (i.e. sprained ankles, soar knees or shoulders, etc.). First, I gave Dr. Baune only 1 star not for his chiropractor care but for his office management. I only had the opportunity to see him for one visit so I can't fairly give an fair review on his chiropractic capabilities but I can say that I impressed by his knowledge and was looking forward to his care. His office management is another story. The receptionist and the manager were pleasant but ill equipped to handle the business appropriately. I was referred to Dr. Baune through my insurance provider. Dr. Baune's name is clearly posted on their website as a provider. When I went in to see the Dr. the first week they asked me for a $25.00 co-pay. It's only supposed to be $10. I had already given them my membership information the week before and would have assumed like most medical offices they would have confirmed this information before I came in. They tried to call the insurance provider and were told that they were moving and that they had to call back on Monday. So they accepted my $10 co-pay and I saw the doctor. They assured me that they would find get the information before my next visit. I scheduled my follow-up for one week later which was today. I just went into the office, gave them a print out of my co-payment responsibilities and the receptionist tells me, "We just switched to a new billing company and they will be responsible for following up with you for any discrepancies in the charges" WHAT? There should be NO discrepancies in the charges. My co-pay is $10!!!! She told me that the office manager was on the line with the insurance company and that because of they are not in-network (yes they are...it's on the website!) they have to find out what to charge. Honey, you had 1 week to find this out and you made a promise to get this resolved before I came back. Now we are on two weeks of it still not being resolved. She gave me some lame excuse that they are a busy office and they are in transition they are dealing with some challenges. You think???? So I am to trust seeing the doctor without any concern that I might be charged more than what I have been told. Don't think so. So needless to say, I chose to end that relationship and will find another chiropractor that has an office manager that knows what he/she is doing without the risk of being charged for something I should not be charged. Dr. Baune, I am sure you are a wonderful doctor. I am very sorry I was unable to experience your care..but you really should consider alternative office management before you lose another client..if it hasn't already happened. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Don for chiropractic care for 25 years and have the highest regard and respect for him, his knowledge and awareness and the way he relates to his clients. Over the years when my body falls out he gets me right back in the game and I so appreciate his integrity with this. Whenever I hear of a friend having body issues I tell them about Dr. Baune. He is a thoroughly talented and thoughtful person, and I trust him implicitly with my health. In fact, he was even able to help my 16-year old Golden Shepherd some years back when my old guy had some inner ear stuff going on that caused him to lose his balance. My husband started with Dr. Donald Baune's late brother, Dr. David Baune, several years ago. At the time, I was under the care of another wonderful chiropractor closer to where we lived. For years, my husband would rave about the techniques used and the great care he received. One day, he asked if I wanted to join him for his appointment with Dr. Dave. Unexpected, but welcomed surprise...Dr. Dave was warm and inviting and especially kind, as he pulled his wife's high school year book out and explained that she went to school with my husband's older brother...Truly, as thoughtful and kind as he was professional. Sadly, Dr. David passed away shortly after that visit, and it wasn't until about 3 years later that my husband and I ran into one of Dr. Dave's former front office staff members who was then working at the local TGIF restaurant where we stopped to have lunch. I remember telling her that neither one of us had seen another chiropractor since Dr. Dave passed, and she was more than glad to tell us that Dr. Don had an office not far from where we live. Now their family affair became our family affair as well with my husband, our son, and myself becoming patients of Dr. Don's. To shorten an already long story...Dr. Don has helped all three of us over the last 10+ years without the use of meds, without the need for frequent visits, and speaking for myself...The chronic neck injury that I was told was "permanent and stationary" and that forced me into retirement at the age of 36, as well as my allergies to avocados, are something of the past. Dr. Don started working with and effectively helping our 5-year old granddaughter this summer with a severe case of eczema and its root causes, starting with testing her for various allergies. Because our granddaughter lives out-of-state, we plan and we will have her return to continue treatment as needed. Important to note...Dr. Don has referred us out where the need for additional care was necessary...In my case, to an amazing OBGYN who performed an endometrial ablasion in the place of a hysterectomy, and bioidentical hormones rather than what I now refer to as "one size fits all hormones", So very grateful for Dr. Dave, Dr. Don, Dr. Pam, and Dr. Dan and their staff...Never hesitating to share our family's experience with others. read more

Dr. Donald Baune is the best! My family has been going to him for decades. My dad sustained a herniated disk and was able to avoid surgery thanks to Dr. Baune's treatment. I was deathly allergic to cats and dogs (broke out in hives if I came into any form of contact) and I no longer have severe reactions thanks to some alternative treatment I had as a child.
