5* Experience at the Walk-In Clinic…read more I don't hand out five-star easily (their is always room for improvement), but my experience in January 2025 at this clinic with NP. Roth, Kara and staff stood out in all the right ways. First impressions matter, I was pleasantly surprised by the 45-minute wait time(though would not always expect). For a walk-in clinic open to ALL and a Monday, that's impressive. During this time I observed the registration staff handle each patient with kindness and patience, including to those who were less then polite. Considering they are the front line dealing with people who are not feeling well, coughing, sneezing not real happy or patient as they are sick this staff kept their calm pleasant demeanor and professionalism. I was fortunate to be seen by a NP, Roth, Kara who entered my room with a student. I have worked in health care for several years and understand the importance of education in the field as it is constantly evolving, I appreciated the transparency. What truly stood out was the quality of care by NP. Roth, Kara. She conducted an efficient exam base on my complaint of ear pain (which i thought was infected and would need antibiotics), provided a clear diagnosis, and prescribed the appropriate treatment (I did not need antibiotics, and was thankful NP Roth, didn't encourage me to take something I didn't need). Despite what I assume was a full patient load, NP. Roth managed to make me feel heard and cared for. NP. Roth's bedside manner struck a balance between compassion and efficiency-- a skill that's not easy to master. Thank you :)

His NP Selena Bireki, helped him stay around...he lived 23 years with cirrhosis. She also directed him to a specialist in Napa to relieve his continuous migraine headaches. The Clinic is very busy so it may take a while to get an appointment if you are new. I can't say anything bad about the clinic.

Dr. Jeannie Pflum saved my daughters life (and probably mine)…read more I had no idea I was in labor, as it was still quite early. But my water suddenly broke, and I rushed to the bathroom. I was horrified to discover it was blood, and immediately got into the car with my husband and rushed to Sutter hospital. I knew something was very wrong, and I was terrified. Dr. Pflum rushed into the hospital (it was her day off). Everyone knew the severity of the situation, and I knew in my heart I needed an emergency cesarean right then, right there. I had a placenta abruption, and there was no time. All she could do was to look deeply into my eyes, hold my hand, and tell me it was going to be ok. This was an extremely rare situation where timing was of the essence. Usually this is something you talk about and discuss. But had she waited any longer my daughter would not have survived. It turned out to be a matter of seconds. She (and her staff) saved her in the knick of time! This was nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Jeannie! We love you.
