I had thought that I'd left a review here for the exceptional car buying experience we had here in early September. My husband and I originally drive to St. Louis to check out used, but newer cars at the Enterprise used car place (don't bother) and realized we fell for a bait and switch there. Anyhow, after going back to the drawing board, I visited one of those online platforms and found several amazingly priced Ford Escapes that were just a few years old with really low miles, and so I called to speak with "Mike" who gave up all the info and encouraged us to drive further south and a bit further for an Escape. Yes, we gambled, but we're pleased that we did. In fact Mike was so kind and encouraging, no pushy sales tactic and really suggested that we drive all available Escapes because one may be a better fit than the other. It was true and we found the right one. We had such pleasant experience that if we ever want another Ford, we will drive over 200 miles here to purchase one. read more

I have been a Ford customer since 1978 and am new to the Ozark Missouri area, having retired from my previous home and moved here. I had a very specific problem and need involving a 2025 Mustang I had purchased from another Ford dealer but I have been treated with an exceptional level of customer care by the Don Vance ford service team. Yesterday my husband and I were spending the day helping our adult niece navigate the used car buying maze. We chose to go to Don Vance because of the variety of makes and models of newer low mileage vehicles. Not only were we pleased with the selection, she found HER car. The "sales guy" was great. He spoke to her with respect. He asked her thought provoking questions. He answered her questions patiently and thoroughly AND honestly. His guidance made her experience far less intimidating. Was looking for a work truck and found one at this dealership. Call the dealership and talked to the salesman. He sent pictures of the truck and it looked like a good truck. So I sent a non refundable deposit to them to hold it. Upon arriving and inspecting the vehicle the back end had a good size dent along with a horrible paint job that someone with no experience would have done. Also the taillight was sticking out of the truck. In addition to all of that the truck had a fowl order inside the cab. When I questioned the salesman about the dents, he replied to me " well I sent you photos of the vehicle". Of course you couldn't see any of the issues in question with a photo. These items should have been mentioned to me but weren't. And they weren't willing to give back the deposit. You would think these items along with maybe cleaning the inside of the truck would have been a priority.we buy a lot of vehicles each but won't be buying from this company!! My friend was driving his 2019 Ford Transit home when the check engine light started flashing. He was near Springfield MO & pulled off the highway to ask for assistance to the nearest Ford dealership. Fortunately, Don Vance Ford was on the frontage road near the exit he chose. Their Service Dept was able to get him in right away. They diagnosed the problem & got to work fixing it right away. Highly recommend them. read more

The idiotic piece of human excrement manager Mike "killed a deal" and made up several "red flags" that were non sensical and when I visit their website, the car I was ready to buy has disappeared from their website. The facts of the matter is they sold it to someone who was willing to pay more. That tells me that these scumbags have no honor in upholding a deal. read more

They had charged me 750.00 to replaced a inner cooler on my 2014 Ford fusion bc it kept overheating. They replaced the inner-cooler then the next day I drove my car it was still overheating and I got stuck on the side of the highway. It then took them a whole week to figure out that there was a hairline crack in the head of the motor so now I'm out of $750 on top of that they're now trying to charge me an additional $6500 to fix the head this place is absolutely the definition of malpractice with incompetent workers / management I am extremely disappointed distraught by the wasting of time and money they caused me..... do not go here for any service needs at all unless you want to throw money at a wall and you're OK with it and save yourself the time read more

I came into Don Vance Ford pre approved through Navy Federal Credit Union and was pressured into financing through their company. They told me when I walked in I was unable to use my check I had receive from my bank due to issues with payment and they would only accept "cashiers checks". Upon being told this I called my financial institution to find another approach since they where unable to provide that payment method. The dealer stated "if it isn't a cashier check then I don't want it". They where extremely rude and we are dissatisfied with the service. We had reached an agreement on price but they couldn't except any of our payment options. The manager also informed me they had sent away three other people due to financing with Navy Federal. read more
