After getting a very good service regarding the removal, and giving him a significant amount of extra money, I notified Don about a damaged item (as he suggested I do). The reply I received was rude, condescending and suggested I had made everything up. The wording was unprofessional and very very hurtful. After several e-mails back and forth he gave us his insurers details. The insurers have simply told us 'our client said you checked the the item before he left and it was not damaged then (this is simply not true) so the case is closed'. When we tried to tell the insurance company that this was untrue they told us that their client had told them that he's not willing to accept responsibility for it and therefore the case was closed.
