Since he was coming into the area from out of town, I emailed Ms. Sizer to ask her to send me the document for his signature. I finally got a response from Ms. Sizer after three emails and three phone discussions with her staff over about two weeks. This was part of her response, "As a solo practitioner, I am not able to prepare and provide documents on demand. I give each matter the due diligence it requires and address matters in turn so that every client receives careful and timely attention. Because this approach does not always align with timelines a client may wish to set, I believe it is best to conclude my representation so that you may continue with other counsel who can meet your needs going forward." If Ms. Sizer had responded promptly, this could have been avoided. If she needed more time, she could have let me know. Instead, she chose to remain silent.
