Food was pretty good, decent queso and salsa. Is a very typical Mexican style restaurant. Prices were very good, but the service was spotty.

Food is very good. Especially the special 50 and the guacamole. My only complaint is the portion size for too high a price.

Menu prices don't match what they charge you, $1-$2 off depending on what you order... staff are super friendly though

We ordered the four steak tacos and the Texas style quesadilla which included 3 jalapeño poppers filled with cheese & cheese dip. It was all so good! Definitely one of our favorite places!

Mi Casita Grill is a decent enough Mexican restaurant in Waynesboro, Mississippi…read more Walking in, the place had a decent overall ambiance and our server was friendly and professional. The menu was filled with the usual items that you would expect from a Mexican restaurant, but that's not a bad thing. I went with the carne asada French fries, which was on the lunch menu. There was a restaurant in Orlando, Florida that had a dish of carne asada French fries and I absolutely loved it. That version was French fries topped with carne asada, cheese, sour cream, guacamole and I would add their hot sauces. I was hoping for a similar dish. When the food came out, I was a bit disappointed to see it was just carne asada and a bit of cheese sauce over French fries. Let me point out, this was the exact description in their menu, but I guess I was hoping against hope for a dish that I used to love. It was still good. The French fries were perfectly cooked and the carne asada was cut for tacos. My one complaint was that they could have put more cheese sauce on it. Overall, I would recommend Mi Casita Grill. Next time, I will get a burrito, though.

Passing through from Texas headed to Georgia. Not the best, very disappointing considering all the…read morehigh reviews. My dad had the Bean Burrito, my husband had the Taco Salad, and I had a Pork Tamale and an Al Pastor Taco. Our food was VERY subpar, absolutely zero flavor. Nothing tasted fresh, in fact, we felt like we were eating reheated food that was already over cooked. The red sauce tasted like it came straight from a can, the Tamale was very thick and dry on the outside and the pork inside was also dry and bland. My husband rarely complains, but he even had a hard time getting through his taco salad, which he orders 99% of the time we eat Mexican food. He said it taste like mushy, flavorless ground beef, and kept wondering if it was really beef due to its really washed out apperance. We also agree with the other reviews concerning the chips and salsa, tomato taste and heat with no flavor. Now the service was great, and the establishment was very clean and well kept (including the restroom). Ambiance was also nice. If you're still reading this, just know I was born and raised in Cali on what I consider some of the absolute BEST Mexican cuisine. This was my first and last time eating Mexican food in Mississippi.
