I had mentioned to a co-worker that I felt like I was never going to be able to save up enough money for a down payment on a house. From his website alone you can tell he is very knowledgeable about what he does for a living and after speaking with him you can really sense his passion for his business and helping people buy their first home. After talking to him we decided to use him as our Realtor and we are so happy we did. Unlike other Realtors we dealt with in the past, he was extremely responsive and helpful from start to finish. We never asked a question that he could not answer on the spot. He or his assistance/wife, Cheryl, always returned our calls ASAP. He always explained every step of the process in great detail so that we would know what to expect and why. When it came time to look at homes, he was filled with knowledge about what to look for when looking at different aspects of the home. He pointed out the roofing, how you can tell a newer home from an older home, pointed out the pipes on the home and the differences in the older material vs what they use now and why, how one can tell if a home has been maintained over the years, etc... His knowledge really helped us make the best decision in buying a home that we would be happy with long term. He always made us feel like his top priority and only client. When it came time to make a bid he went over the process thoroughly and let us know all of our options on how to handle things that might come up and things to consider. He was very persistent with everyone involved in the process of our purchase. He maintained consistent contact with everyone from the other Realtor to the loan officer and anyone in between. He was sure to include us in every email conversation that pertained to our deal and almost always followed it with a phone call. Most everything was handled via email and we too included Don in any email we sent out. If we ever requested information from someone and he saw there was no response, he followed our email with one of his own and of course included us in that email. It's been a couple of months now since we purchased our home and there are a few little things that we have had questions on and Don is still responsive and attentive. He does not just forget about you once the deal is done. Don and Cheryl have the best personalities and make you feel like a friend, not just a client.
