This Independent Italian restaurant is a real gem. Fabulous food, first class service and very clean. Can't get better than that.
I went to this restaurant two days in a row. First for my cousin's birthday, then my mums birthday the following day. The first night we were about 30 very loud and lively girls. The menu was per arranged by the manageress. She recommended the tasting menu. We started eating at 9 and finished at midnight! The most mouth watering dishes.
Cold starters and salads that look like a work of art and taste heavenly were followed by very thin stone baked pizza. Then the amazing meatballs and mouth watering chicken liver. I love chicken liver, but this is heaven on a dish. You can't get enough of it. Luckily the head chef is very clever and although her portions are extremely generous, she pops her head out occasionally to warn us that there is a lot more to come so just taste! And boy was she right. There was loads more to come and each dish more amazing than the previous.
Next was a prawn cocktail that we fought over. All the food is to share and a plate full place between 4-5 people. So plenty.
The calamari was a dream and I could have eaten it all night. Then oh god I forgot what else!,, all this and we are just on starters. Of course there was beautiful warm garlic bread and olive and balsamic vinegar dip.olives.
A welcome break to digest and dance. As we had the whole restaurant, we were allowed to put our own music.
Main course and we were ready by then. This beautiful woman, Raviola, deserves all the praise in the world. I eat fish regularly and I love nobu's black cod. But Raviola's cod dish ( I have no idea if it was black cod but I suspect it was ) was so delicious, I will never forget the taste.served on top of the smoothest tasties creamed potato and decorated so beautifully most of us took photos. Amazing amazing amazing. There was also salmon. And for all those people bored of eating salmon, go liven your taste buds with this dish. There was also lamb cooked very slowly in a sauce that she had thickened and added crema de balsamica to, I think. The sounds of wow and mmmm could be heard from every seat. Again all the dishes are shared so that you have a little bit of each and not explode. Beautiful steamed vegetable accompaniments as well as grilled vegetable, fries and roasted baby potatoes that we wanted to take home, they were so delicious.
The best part is yet to come!!
My sister in law is on a very strict diet. Chef heard. Came over. Spoke to her. And started bringing individual dishes for her of all grilled vegetables and steamed ones, one dish at a time so she wouldn't feel left out. Followed by grilled seabas on a bed of very appetising veggies decorated beautifully. How many chefs do this!!

Very very clean toilets. Amazing service with a smile all the time.
Most of us had soft drinks about 6 had alcohol. We probably had 2-3 drinks each plus a few bottles of water. Teas and coffes for those who could actually take anything more in. Lots more dancing. Perfect evening.
I would expect to pay no less that £60 for this and I am being very conservative here, I am sure!! We paid.......... £30 each. Yes thirty pounds!! I will say no more!!
Try this gem of a restaurant it's one of the best restaurants in London in my view. Raviola and the assistant manager, Franchesco deserve medals for their hard work as do all the wonderful staff there who had smiles on their faces till the last of us left way after 1.30 am thank you thank you thank you.
Oh by the way, the following day was a lunch party for mums 70th birthday and if I start I will never stop. All I can say is they gave us the best time, the best food, the best service and the best memory of a wonderful celebration. Thank you read more
