very tasty food, tiramisu was yum yum, only fault is the cost, it's very over priced :( nice as an occasional treat though.

I was FINALLY able to try Rudy's, even though the universe seemed to be against me the whole time…read morebut I finally got in. I've wanted to try this place for some time now, and every time I see people in Manchester asking about the best pizza places, Rudy's is always peoples number one choice. I made a point to want to go there on this visit, so I did everything I needed to do in the city, and then headed over for when it opened so I knew I would be able to get a table. A few people went in before me and the staff member was talking to people a little bit so I had a feeling something was wrong. When I got to the them, it turns out the pizza oven wasn't turning on so there would have been a minimum of 30 minute delay, I could be seated but they couldn't do any orders until the people in had sorted out the problem. I decided to go off and do something else (there's an amazing coffee shop around the corner so I went there for a bit) and then return when, hopefully, it was all fixed. I was gone around 40-45 minutes and when I walked down the street, alongside the extractor vents, I could smell pizza so knew it was all working. When I got in, there was a lot more people inside so it must have been fixed pretty quick and people were going for food. I got seated at the bar area, which was actually where a group of chefs were making the pizzas. I was in front of the one shaping the dough into the pizza shape. I felt a bit awkward looking at them so did it a bit slyly out the corner of my eye. They weren't looking at me so maybe it was as uncomfortable for them as me ... or maybe its just me being an awkward person at a new place. Looking at the menu there was a lot of choice. All of it seemed authentic Neapolitan pizza which Ive never had before so it was new to me. The menu was extensive and I decided to go for good old fashioned basic. HOWEVER, it turns out I ordered even more basic as I got the marinara rather than the margarita ... I did order that but didn't realise the marinara was without cheese. SO that was a shock at first but MY GOD it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and I could see them cooking it, perfect amount of garlic shavings and basil and the sauce and base was to die for. I can see why people say its the best, and there was a number of delivery or to take out orders as a staff member was constantly going out with piles of boxes. On the table where I was there was a tomato tin filled with the cutlery and napkins and a giant pizza cutter which I thought was pretty cool, so I was able to slice my own pizza into whatever sized pieces I wanted. Obviously I ate it how it should be eaten (in my opinion)... into slices and picked up and folded and it was great. I also got a jug of water before my order was taken which I love, and went for a simple blood orange san Pellegrino which came with ice and an orange slice. The pizza was around 9 inch I think ... a good size either way and all in all it only came to £10 which was a bargain. I will, for sure, return and maybe get some cheese on it this time ... and maybe mushrooms as the fungi pizza looked amazing (the guy who sat next to me ordered that) and when I can finally move up to Manchester, I shall order from there more often.

We went on a Monday around 3pm and there were plenty of spaces to sit inside and outside. The service was great...we never had to wait too long for anything and each employee was very nice and professional. They take food allergies very seriously and ensured that I knew was well informed of any potential allergens involved in their cooking processes. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the Salsiccia and I ordered the Triple Pepperoni. The pizza's are big enough for two people to share, even though we each got our own. Our toddler came with us; however, they don't have a dedicated children's menu, and she really only likes plain cheese pizza from the U.S. So she only ate the one of the orders of salted crisps. But I was happy that they at least offer high chairs, which was much needed, especially since we sat outside which only has picnic table seatingl Overall, I would definitely recommend this place, you won't be disappointed!

Bisto style, (other gravies are available), the scent lures you to the door and before you know it you are gazing at the enormous menu and wiping off the saliva from your shoes! Pizzas, (I refuse to call them pizzaz), aplenty in just about any combination and up to an 18 inch behemoth, (I recommend the roni and garlic), garlic bread (z) with multiple toppings (maxaroni is heaven), kebabs (z), chicken, burgers (z) and pakoras (z), what more can you ask? The staff are always chatty and pleasant, the service is speedy, they will order you a taxi ready for you when the order is complete and their delivery service is excellent. To top it off the food is always fresh and delicious. One of our takeaways of choice for any occasion in the borough.

I say the only half decent take-away pizza with a heavy heart because i'm a bit of a pizza addict. In my area there is a Dominos which whilst their pizzas are ok i prefer mine to not come with over an inch thich tide of tomato sauce on it. Everything else around here seems to be kebab houses that happen to do pizzaz. Jo Jo'z is different,it is a pizza place that happens to do kebabs..see the subtle difference? Anyhow we normally only order from here late on a Saturday/early on a sunday after drinking copious amounts of Bourbon. My particular favourite and what i ordered this evening is the garlic pizza bread with cheese and pepperoni. As i said they also do kebabs,a selection of pasta dishes, kids meals (but you wouldnt would you?) and various burgers...All in all i like Jo Jo'z they do exactly what it sayzzzzzz on their delivery Smart Cars.

For some reason since growing up I've always thought of this place being a little scruffy (outside view) and I don't really know why. But I heard from a friend that kids can make there own Pizza, so I decided to try it out one night with the family. Once inside I noticed to my surprise that the restaurant was busy and apparently is always busy. It has a very Italian feel to the restaurant with most of the staff either being or looking Italian. 1st up while waiting for a table was a round of drinks at the bar. x1 Bottle of Peroni, x1 glass of white wine & x1 glass of pure orange juice = £9.20 which for me I found expensive (this is Oldham after all). There was live music in the dining area which was nice & all the staff where very nice and made time to have a bit of fun with our daughter. We ordered the "Make your own pizza" for the our daughter which came with a fresh dough pizza base and a tomato sauce with 3 toppings to choose out of a selection. We choose Sweetcorn, Ham & Mushroom. A hat is also given to the child to wear while making the Pizza. Myself and my partner had a X2 starters & X2 mains. The starters were nice but nothing special. And we both had Pizzas but if I'm really honest if I had gone to any kebab & pizza shop on Yorkshire street and ordered a pizza I'm guessing it would have looked and tasted the same. I wasn't really impressed with the food i ordered (maybe the other italian meat & pastas is be better ?) In the end add another glass of white wine and the bill was £40 which I thought was over priced for what we got. Would I go again. Yes but I don't think it will be for a while.

We ordered on Deliveroo at 7:50 pm and the estimated delivery time was 30 - 60 minutes. As the hour approached (the latest the delivery should have been) the app said that the restaurant was still making our order. The app continued to extend the delivery time until we had been waiting two hours and fifteen and the restaurant was due to close. At this point the Deliveroo rider had been waiting at the restaurant for 15 minutes. We were growing increasingly anxious that we wouldn't get our food (that they would cancel the order) and then we wouldn't be able to get food because it was getting so late. The app had no way to contact the restaurant, but said to call the restaurant directly. I tried to call the restaurant multiple times and recieved both line busy messages and had my calls be hung up on. We called repeatedly and repeatedly got no answer. Finally, at 10:25 the rider got our pizza (2.5 hours after we had ordered), but we didn't get to eat until 10:40... A bit frustrating. Like I said, the food is good, but the lack of timeliness, the lack of communication... it was incredibly unprofessional and honestly anxiety inducing. At least have a message on your restaurant number. And if you're SO busy you can't do delivery... don't offer it as an option.

We called into Noi Quattro for lunch after a friend recommended it, and found the place completely deserted. I've no idea why it was so quiet, but it is tucked a little out of the way and I suspect the nearby Mackie Mayor swallows up a lot of passing trade. The venue is large and modern, very nicely decorated. We were seated in the window which gave us a great view. The menu had a good variety of pizzas on it (several of which catered to vegans) and there were a couple of specials up on the board... I went for a mushroom pizza, Sparky went for an anchovy and olive one. Both were really delicious and we washed them down with a couple of beers. Pizzas here are truly authentically neapolitan - let's be honest, most people will compare these pizzas with those offered by Rudy's, and they are easily on the same level. I gave Rudy's 5 stars, and I'm giving Noi Quattro 5 stars too. The pizzas are really delicious and I really don't understand why people weren't queueing out of the door here like they do at Rudy's.

The waiter was especially lovely to our 3 year old kid and went out of his way to talk to him about what he'd been up to today. The place was bright and airy and it had a good feel to it. There was one table with four swings around it. There's plenty of regular seating too. I'd definitely come again for a pizza fix.
