I was really happy when this place opened up a few years ago mainly because it meant there was…read morefinally another alternative to the pizza joints in the area and something that had tastier pizza than Dominos. I've tried not to go too often because it's easy to get used to a particular taste (and I have noticed a difference in the last year) but I do have to say that I really do appreciate how the food is made here in that the core bread and sauce is quite good. They could stand to put more cheese on all their offerings as a base but at least it's possible to pay extra to get more. The staff is friendly, the ability to pre-order for pickup (or delivery) is easy enough and the end results are good. Being able to order 2 XL pizzas for under $30 is also nice on the wallet :)

Not only was their high quality Greek salad enough for two meals, their pizza sauce tangy and well…read moreabove average - but an even better reason for this 4 star review is based on a somewhat common story... Normally when you call a delivery place less than 15 minutes before they close, the answer you get is something like, "Well... I'm sorry we're closing soon, and we can't take your order!". The even more important detail is that night the weather weather was a fright (icy roads en mass). I would have understood if they had said the roads were too slippery, but they just rocked it. Regardless of both facts, they were able to take the order, and deliver in 30 minutes or less. Reviewer's note: I'm not sure they knew this, but since the power was out for several hours and the roads were a disaster I was pretty stuck. If they hadn't been able to deliver, I would have had a very long night indeed, as I hadn't eaten much all day and used up a lot of energy keeping warm. Compared to people who have little to eat all day, I shouldn't complain, but again under the circumstances they really did something beyond the norm, and it was very appreciated. Thanks again.

If you live in ste anne and are a student, you already know about adessos. I'd say all the high…read moreschool, john abott, and mcgill students have hit up this place at least once...but likely more. It's the go to place for cheap pizza and cass croute food. They have a good deal on takeout pizzas, where you can get a large for 11 dollars and an xlarge for 16, with three toppings of your choice. I usually go with chicken and smoked meat, just because at other pizza places they charge you extra for those. Generally the pizza is pretty decent and service is quick. The fried food tends to be more sketchy. A few times I've gotten things that tasted burnt...they might not be changing oil often enough. Poutine is decent though, but avoid the chicken poutine...it was those weird chicken-nugget esque pieces of meat, probably made from mechanically separated meat. I usuallly just go with the normal poutine. My friend swears by the spicy poutine, but the secret is just a sprinkle of cayenne so save yourself 50c and do it at home.

Last Thursday, we ordered two pizzas, one pepperoni for me and an all-dressed for him. He ate his all-dressed for supper and brought along two other slices for lunch the next day. He spent the next four days with with a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and severe chills - all the hallmarks of food poisoning - and missed two days of work. I almost had to take him to the hospital. That pizza was the only food for the entire week that he had ingested that I had not also touched, and I never got sick, so we're pretty darn sure something about that pizza made him sick. We called the pizzeria, asked to speak to a manager to ask if there had been any other complaints, DID NOT ask for any freebies, but the guy started yelling and insulting my boyfriend over the phone at the very idea that anything from his restaurant could have made someone sick because apparently they are infallible to germs. My boyfriend is a very non-confrontational type of person and was legitimately trying to warn them, but this manager/owner took to attacking him over the phone like a 5 year-old. Because of this person's deplorable behaviour we're going to have a find any place to order from, it's too bad because we really did like the food. I also have the rest of the uneaten pizza and will be filing a complaint with the appropriate health department.

I wish they were a bit more friendly but that's just my POV.. sounded like they didn't want to be there .. bummer We ordered pick up as that was the only option .. Food: it was just alright.. nothing special.. Rice was good but skip the exotic rice and stick to the regular one .. the exotic is way more pricier but has not much flavour tasted super bland and unoriginal.. the regular one had more seasoning and much more tastier simple and better. It's super inconsistent.. we ordered here twice and our garlic pizza was different from each time .. first time it was amazing and super generous and fresh the second time it was way too sour and didn't taste fresh. Fries were bland and dry :/ The gyro pitas were ok but the beef was generic and not authentic cuts .. it's those gyro cuts you can get at any grocery store not very impressed as they charge a hefty price for it... not filled enough but it was alright just not generous for the price you pay. Overall, service quality and price is mediocre and lots of other local hotspots that offer way more for the price and service.. don't think I'll be back here unfortunately!
