We were asked how we wanted them cooked and if any accompanying sauces were required. It took some time for the food to arrive and one of the sauces we asked for didn't arrive but the waitresses were all very nice and tried their hardest. The steaks were well cooked but they weren't seasoned particularly well. The thing that confused me the most were the overly boiled veg that accompanies the food. Both the carrots and beans were boiled to near destruction. The place was really busy so there are obviously regulars that really enjoy this place and the staff were really nice but for me it was just about ok.

To cut a hugely long story short; The waiter/esses were rude and unhelpful, left drinks on the bar without serving for long periods, got my order wrong 3 times, overcharged us, then muttered something about ungreatful customers when we refused to leave a tip. Not somwhere i would EVER recommened. Go to the Port Solent branch if you fancy your mexican fix!

The first time I went with two friends and our table was placed by the open kitchen and right next to a pillar. The staff were passing trays of food over our heads to each other and the manager was angrily shouting to his staff while he was standing right next to our table. The food was not really that great either but luckily for us the fire alarm went off and we had to vacate the building meaning that we did not have to pay! The second time we went, was in a large party of 20 and although they did cope well with this big party, we only had one waitress for our table and the food again was not the best. So we told manager and she did sort it out and I was right in my theory that when we asked for fresh they just seemed to put chips back in fryer and burgers with popcorn which they should of not done. I crossed the road, went in, ordered and then stood there about 15 minutes with a bunch of other people waiting for our orders. Obviously this isn't a "fast food" restaurant like in the old days. Everybody is ordering chicken and the place is crowded so why not just make LOTS of chicken?! The prices were reasonable.
