We ordered a New York style crust and some wings and I have to say the pizza was the crispiest pizza I ever had. Every bite had us wanting to go back for more. The toppings were fresh and delicious, the sauce is slightly sweet yet tangy, and the wings were juicy and flavorful. I love the look of a school pizza shop. I'm tired of seeing all these new places and their modern interior design. This place made me feel like I was a kid again going to the local pizza shop for a family pizza night. The best comfort food for a Sunday night meal. We paid $40 total for a massive meal that would have easily cost $75 in Austin and been 1/2 the size! If I could sit down and have a frank conversation with the owner, I would suggest dropping the price by a few dollars and cutting the portions in half. I called this location to request either a new sandwich or a refund. I advised them that was not possible. The only solution was for me to bring in the sandwich missing everything that I ordered. I was told by the manager and later by the owner that subway doesn't have an app??? I was told that the app was through DoorDash. I confirmed by calling multiple subways that subway does in fact have an app. The owner of the location in Beeville who owns all the Beeville subway Sandwich stores called me to reiterate, the information included above. A week later I received a letter with a copy of the receipt that confirms that I ordered the sandwich mentioned above. The letter states that a video was reviewed of the person making the sandwich who prepared the correct sandwich. I have no idea why they bothered to spend the money on a stamp to tell me that I was wrong. I have the photographic evidence that subway in Beeville is either lying or is suffering from a profound mental illness. Ironically, I was credited a refund using the subway app that according to this location does not exist.
